Asunto: NTDB suggestions

For those of you who use the NTDB to update your players what would you like to see added/changed?

I can now code the databse so if the idea is decent enough it may get coded.

I have already re worded the player doesnt fit requirements to be more encouraging to people training a player.

better ranking system so that clear cut midfielders don't show up in say best strikers simply because pace and tech are higher than others. This happens especially for younger players. Maybe have a minimum cut off for each type based on what you set as primary requirements to get into that position. For example having striker primary 11 for >21 will stop those players with < 11 appearing in that particular list. Similarly for other positions and other ages.

That's of course if it is possible.

or simply denoting them by position and then having them only come up in that list ;)

that's a bit harder, because in certain cases a player deserves to be in multiple positions. For example Broxton,Croxall. Those kind of players you'd want appearing in both.

well, you can have them in multiple positions? or even better, denote according to specific positions, like DM, winger etc :)

so what do you classify this as then :p

solid stamina tragic keeper
solid pace good defender
solid technique very good playmaker
solid passing good striker


Wouldn't you think he'd deserve to be in all positions, thus eliminating the need for having to assign them specific positions ;).

he can be assigned to whatever the manager decides to play/train him as :)

nope, been quite surprised at how quickly he's improving.

problem is with chopping changing it could be frustrating. Would be easier if it were skill based as a minimum cutoff, since that information is already used anyway ;).

Although, yeah either way could work.

Maybe the nt coach could add players from all players base to 4 categories, gk def mid att?

hmmm seems to be a few countries who want something similar to this. I shall see what i can do tho it will take me a few weeks to get my head round the code.
