just blew 20m in a late night transfer splurge, now i'm nearly broke (until i sell my 10 players) :P

was just trawling the transfer market and i just saw a monster 21yo striker with 16 pace, 16 tech, and 14 striker, currently going for 20m. also saw a 17yo with 15 in keeper! bloody hell the kids these days!

So Steel Fury goes the league season undefeated with a For Against of 101-9. The biggest For and Against of all time completed with a 7-0 drubbing of the once great TMP.

And with the greatest A-League season of all-time I will go into retirement. I'm going to sell all my second team youngsters and leave my first team to age and slowly disappear.

Completed the season with Elrich playing as a 36 year old GK which is truly amazing. I doubt any 36 year old has ever won the league.

The game is just so tedious now with so little community left. Its a shame. I loved this game, but find that I no longer care. And the season I put zero effort in, I finally get my 100 A-League goals in a season! LOL.

Congrats uber, similar boat here. Decided to promote the few promising juniors I have from the dire YS pulls in the last couple of years. Together with an ageing 1st XI which needed a refresh seasons ago.

I'll keep my team ticking over, since it's been almost 10 years. Maybe I'll come back and try to win it in to celebrate 10y in the game. Tough ask with the monster team you've created uber and Chelsea/MM/UK being strong.

The Comets face-off against Cisco Spurs
Cool Runnings go head to head with PAOK (almost a bot)

Comets probably have the toughest task, being up against the only active manager within the Qualification matches, whereas vivski is up against the harder team, but knowing the tactic will not change (but I'd be surprised if cisco changes tactic against the comets as well).

Mongrels could/should make short work of Aviation club FC, even with the greatly weaker team, just by taking advantage of those massive holes in Aviations back line.

Part of me would like to see you in A-League next season, another part would like to see the new guys have one more season taking fans off the inactive bots kicking around, and promote the following season.
