+8 isn't really that unusual given I've got 25-26 youths in the school. That's just 1/3 roughly. Still it's nice to have that many pop. Much better than having 0 pop ;).

25-26? I wish. I've got 13. 13! is coming out VG+ or 5+ in a few weeks too much to ask?

I went through that for about 2 seasons where I trimmed my way down from 30 to about 17 or 18. I'm now back at 25 currently, although not all are less than 5 but most are 5 or better or coming out excellent or higher. Had a mass influx over the past 4-5 weeks of decent youths entering to pump the number up to where it is now.

i always keep mine as close to 30 as possible. even though i might get some dud talents or low popping skill level (keep an eye out for some ridiculous ones in the near future from me)

20 here... talent mainly below 5 and mainly above VG as well.
There are the odd ones to make the numbers though... I think my worst one to come out will be a VG 6.0wk talent.
Plus a few gamble on 16yo obviously :)
