vivski para Todos
Making you plan ahead and be selective about your acquisitions is one of the best parts of sokker. Big transfers are planned many weeks or even months beforehand.

I'm still in the hunt for a GK to sit in the armchair in front of the TMP goal.
Then next season I'll be looking for another weapon up front to cover my aging strike-force.

What's your next big purchase? A Robbie Fowler, Fred, Jason Culina, Mile Sterjovski...?

I know I'm in bad need of replacing defenders and getting a better goalkeeper, so perhaps that's on the agenda.

I need to switch out my aging trainees for younger guys I can take through with Stewart / Villafane.

If I have money left over after that, then I'll probably look at *sniff* upgrading Hirons, and then switch out Cristea and Vellido in defense.

i'm probably looking to upgrade my midfield again, but not sure where to go after that
2009-07-25 12:21:02
I'm finally finishing striker training and moving into MID training - for the first time since I play sokker. :)
2009-07-25 12:25:33
So you'll be hitting up the TL for some talent or you already have your MID trainees waiting in the wings?
2009-07-25 12:31:02
Well I need few youngster. As I'm possibly going 'up' I can't use only youngsters in my 1st team, so I will probably train Deroo, Willis and Smolka in passing&pm + 2 youngsters. It will be kinda hard to do though...require 442, while I'll probably need 532 tactics. Maybe I will change to 541 in this case. In friendlies I will train Briganti + 4 youngsters. So I need 6 young mids, 3 at high level, 3 at lower. The problem is I will probably have 'only' about 22 500 000 $, unless I sell Neculau what would give me about 8 750 000 $.

Sounds like an exiting time for The Evils.

If you're moving into midfielder training, Neculau is probably surplus anyway. 31 250 000 $ would make it much easier to fill the 6 remaining slots (3+3). Your current kitty probably wont cut it, given your standards. ;)

haha he can have Stathakis for 50mill au if he wants :p. I'll take it ;). Could always use a little booster in finances ;).
2009-07-25 12:48:52
Yeah, it's time for few weak seasons, at least 3 - then I'm going to attack the national cup. Another problem is that my defence will be old by that time...oh well :)

And I'd like to sell Neculau, but it's not that easy...although I have one user interested.

Then it would look like this:

-----------Deroo---------
Willis---------------------
------Smolka--NG------
----------Ng-------------

NG stands for New Guy. Wouldn't be that bad, although any win in Ekstraklasa would be a major surprise ;)
Still I'd be able to go high in the cup, as I would have there 5 defs, 4 young mids and Briganti. We'll see how it goes. 31 250 000 $ for 6 guys would mean that I can get good youngsters...definitely one at decent level for the 1st team, 1 half-decen, 2 good very young one's and 2 guys whom future would be trading and making my money sack bigger ;)
2009-07-25 12:49:01
Deal! ;)
2009-07-25 12:58:14
I'll sell Lawton for half of cometer's price :p
2009-07-25 13:03:51
;)

Ok, but let's leave jokes on the side[can you actually say this in English? there's a Polish idiom like this, but I don't really know it's English equivalent...] - I would like to have at least one Aussie trainee...
2009-07-25 13:07:22
I think it's "jokes aside" that you're looking for.
2009-07-25 13:13:39
Thanks :)
