It's going to be a race to see who can get off the bottom supporter mood first. And who can retain more of their ranking points. He has more to lose. :P

Yeah that's sort of right (I did think I'd win but I knew it was a tight squeeze and I had a strong chance of losing), but I want to rebuild. I've got to clear out 6-7 players which I can't instantly rebuild in the A League because they won't get me enough money. I was focussing on the Trinity Cup Final but I would have sacrificed training a week if I desperately wanted to win the qualifier. I need to drop so I can afford to play with a weakened squad whilst I pick up sufficient funds. At the same time it allows me to train 10 players instead of 5 and still have a good chance of winning.

Only downside is the loss in income from gate receipts and sponsorship to take a blow (probably down 150k a week) but being financially stable currently 1 season won't hurt me and I should get it back with training anyway. I'll be back in the A League soon enough, I just need time to regroup a few players without the hassle of the A League competition.

You just need to look at my squad to see I've got real issues with an ageing defense and the skill drops from my other defenders are dropping too quickly for me to rebuild the cash to sell them on.

Congrats to sx890410 though on the win. Enjoy the boost in sponsorship :). I'll sit low for a while club wise anyway.

Sx commiserations or congratulations?! tell me... Not sure you're looking forward to 14 spanks and 150-200 fans leaving... not sure how long your sponsorship is going to be above the ones of the top teams of II... anyway I think it is worth the trip and the journey will bring a lot of valuable lessons that you will be able to use in the future.

I'm leading by example by taking the biggest hit of them all, how's that inconsiderate. At the same time I'm giving other teams in II.01 a sponsorship boost, so I'd like to think I've contributed to some positive things :p.

I'm probably more concerned about how many supporters I'll lose this season ;). Already lost 14. Shall keep count.

Not only has his loss made it harder for A-League teams to get supporters, but when he comes back up, it will still be harder as he may lose a bunch this season too (according to his assumptions).

On a positive note, we will see how much this new system really affects sponsorship/supporters/moods with dave in II.01 probably winning every game.

Keep us updated of the progress dave, and we'll see whether a couple of wins will bring you back up to a high supporter mood, or whether you can make it there by the end of the season.

Sure thing, vivski should have a similar experience as myself, so we'll have enough evidence by the season end about just how dodgy the system is. I hold next to no hope for myself seeing the M.I.L mood anytime soon, unless I win the cup.

I think your fan will be MIL sooner than you think... I don't think the new system is that terrible...

From what I've seen, I strongly doubt it to be the case but we'll see :). Assuming I win everything if I get it to MIL then most people complaining have nothing to complain about.
