Not particularly impressive ;). I know how to get them to be rather successful but it then sacrifices a little of what you can do tactically. For example, if you need to play a back 5 and a winger (due to them being your best outfielder and they can't play anywhere else) then it's incredibly difficult to get the goal kicks working properly unless the keeper has large amounts of passing. Yet if you use a back 4, with a diamond like formation without the use of a winger, the kickouts perform much better.

Any plans in the next 3 months that might interrupt the preparation for WCQ games?

None that I'm aware of at present.

Sorry for using this thread, but there's only 3 days to go, and a rather poor turn out so far. It seems a lot of managers are abstaining from choosing between two quality candidates; or still thinking.

normally the past 2 elections not including this one have only had around 15-16 votes. Still it's not the greatest turnout since we've got 118 users and two quality candidates to choose between.

Yeah, I admit, I didn't bother voting last season. ;)

"two quality candidates to choose between."

hurting me ...
You have managed the NT of Australia 8 seasons and did'nt qualified the team to WC and talking about quality managers?
if we play a game i beat anywhere, anytime..so let me
..you would say only 2 australian candidates

Sorry we have hurt your sensitivity but I suggest you tone it down a bit and keep things civil...

thanks
2009-08-27 15:00:20
the more reason to vote for you now you've said that?
2009-08-27 15:01:32
You can't build a very good stadium though.

Mate - He is referring to candidates who the community know have previous NT experience. Cometer has qualified for the WC once before. However it is not all about tactics and winning games. Its about how you communicate with users and how the Australian system works.

You have come into the Australian forums at the start of these elections seeking the Australian job, but you have never been around the forums at any other stage. If you hang around after the elections and make constructive criticism on the NT games and tactics then people will get to know you and you will have more chances to become the Australian NT manager. It may be 2 Australian managers running but we both have NT experience and are both well respected members of the Australian community.

As I have said - it is not all about matches and tactics which is what you seem to be interested in especially by your statement "if we play a game i beat anywhere, anytime.. so let me." We have built a quality structure here in Australia and I'm not sure that you quite understand that

2009-08-27 15:23:39
