Awesome draw for my team. We have drawn a newly promoted div IV team. The cool bit is, their keeper is a 40 year old with 0 value and average rating of 0 for the last 5 matches or so. I guess he is 8 x tragic. I am going to play my first team just to go for a team scoring record. :) This is going to be awesome!
Feels weird to be in div II and yet still be 3rd seed for the cup. Could work out good for me as I'll get through the first few rounds with trainees before possibly making the switch at around round 5 or 6.
Have a bot side this week though, so should be a strong chance to put 20 or more goals in the back of the net.

Yeah, no chance of a home cup game any time soon...
Think last season when I lost to you was my 1st home game in a cup for like 9-10 seasons. My fans are getting tired of doing all the travelling ;).
Now that are replacing old players. Who dobbed me in!
Haha that's terrible. 14-0 up at half time and could only score another 4 in the 2nd half. 18 goals from 60 shots. Not surprisingly my fan mood is still furious ;).
Must say it was fun destroying the team, but even after winning 16-0, after checking out the formula and the stats from the first week of the U21teams, I will be up for losing about 28-29 ranking points...nice feeling ey :)
And yes, I know everyone around my ranking will prolly lose a similar amount

17-0 with 46 shots....tried a new formation but can't gauge how it is against that opposition.
I did get a laugh from Escudeiro's step overs just before half time.

Always nice when one of your own strikers does 52% of the defensive work and the other striker does 28% of the defensive work. Usually results in the defense not having to do much :p. So many times from kickoff we'd take the ball straight off them and just run through everyone for a shot at goal. Wonder how many aussie rules goals we kicked, probably close to two dozen or so.
My wingers combined for 57% of the def work, with my lone striker doing 26% def work. Funny thing is Atkinson (one of 4 defenders) got an attacking rating but I don't recall him actually touching the ball for the entire game!!
Its pretty funny when the ME kicks in to limit the score and you have the triple tragic keeper pulling off save after save. :D
First midfielder with a 50 rating.
First solid team skill rating (passing). Not a real acheivement considering I played 7 midfielders.

This was done many seasons ago, but I reckon we should follow a team (or in my idea, all the human controlled teams, that won "against the odds").
Just like before, whoever beats them, then gets followed throughout the cup.
So we have 3 of these human controlled teams this season;
- Jiggdle managed by Jigg. Been playing for a total of 4 days, and won the match against Chelsea S.C. 2-0
Rick Green is his key to success with a massive mark of 24, and two goals to his name.
- Shon FC managed by shoneel. Has been around for just over a month, logging on around once a week. Another 2 goal win in the form of a 3-1 result. Winger Richard Willets had an impressive game, given an even higher mark then Jiggs Green, with a 26.
However the underdog in his team may just be a player to watch out. 2 goals to Matthew Rudan was very impressive for an under the radar mark of just 15.
- Now unlike the previous two teams, Acazza of Acazza, scrapped through with a 5-4 win. After only one month of managing, and not turning up to any training session since taking control of the team, It took a penalty shootout to separate themselves and their opponents.
Some may say it was a lack of team commitment, others, a lack of skill, but I say, it was all Bob Mackays fault, with the pressure of being on the left side of the wing, he could only manage a mark of 8. However, I get the feeling his place in the team is still safe, although his place in the cup, may come under fire next week

22-0, gone up 1 more supporter level to depressed. Second highest winning margin of round 1 as well. :)
20-0 win for round 2 and a very pleasing result. Maybe I should use my 2nds over my 1sts all the time. They're clearly more accurate :s. 20 from 46 is quite a tally, as opposed to 18 from 60 the week before.
Kightley banging them in from just about everywhere. Must be preparing for the U21 MWC campaign ;). 14 goals from 27 shots.
Bottom line is my fan mood didn't drop, so we're getting somewhere :).

Our first of the 3 teams, came across a massively strong team in The Black Flashes.
Really they never stood a chance, and the 49-0 shot count handed out just showed this.
They didnt use their star player from their last game, but by the looks of things, their whole team is now better than their previous best was.
So our first big name has appeared in the following.
Acazza managed to get a much easier team then Jigg, but still went down 2-3 in a close match to dudu_luo. Goodwin and Pottier managed to do all the damage with 3 assists and 3 goals respectively.
The final team Shoneel came up against Fenerbahçe_FC coached by Sinn3r. It was a very one sided match with Sinn3r having learnt how to use the tactic editor, and was a deserved winner with an 8-0 victory
