Yeah but I was hoping it was Lascarescu instead in that position. Has more tech then Baronio. I think they'd have struggled to get chances had they not been wise to make the switch.

I had Erdogan stomped on too, so I consider it even. Player for player.

I felt even in that first half that whilst they created a couple of chances, most of them were half chances and the cracks were beginning to open when I fired a through pass for our only chance of the half which 9/10 should have ended in the back of the net given the keeper came out off his line against a magical+ striker.

I knew if I could ride out the first half I'd come over the top in the 2nd, particularly when I brought on fresh legs who had more pace then their defenders did, which was a critical tactical move in the end as once Bowen came on we suddenly got multiple chances and he scored the winner and arguably set up our first.

Usually that's how pressing works, you either get killed in the first half or you come around and clean em up in the 2nd half as your press starts catching tired men out. At least that's how I've always found it to be.

Think if you count the shot count after 49min they had 7 shots to 2 and it was just 1-0. A few of those were sprayed from range though. Once we got the upper hand on tackling Lascarescu the game swung and it swung quite quickly I felt.
