Asunto: S18 - Australia Cup

Minkee's tactics don't look much like they used to look like back in the III days. I saw quite a few things I hadn't see before. I don't think the game was one sided though. Your team had a lot of shots from a long way out which skewed the shots count. I think the territory count was skewed by all the fouls I gave away in my half which took time for your players to take the kicks ;)

I think Achmids team will be a bridge too far unless he plays more 2nd's. I back myself to give teams a 8 point start and beat them on a good day but not 13. Plus stopping a 70+ rated striker would be beyond my defenders.

It's not really impossible. Vivski won't be thrilled to find out, but my back 5 had an average defending skill of 6.2. I guess I had a bit of luck as well.

Oooh wicked 11 next up for me. That's a good challenge, will need to decide how many firsts players I'll need to play.

Bears... definitely do-able, but I'll have to come up with another tactic again.

It's been a long time since I made a completely new tactic, and the process still hasn't changed from being an annoying and rather time-consuming experience (which paid off against TMP).

Unsurprisingly got smashed. Oh well. As good a run as I can expect.

Is it high playmaking that provides for the 40m miracle through balls? Got smashed by a bunch of those tonight.

Well done Tong. If I wasn't so lazy I would watch the game.... crazy scoreline.

Thanks uber. It's moreso the high passing that results in those miracle through balls.

I'm a bit flattered by the scoreline, Kamionek seemed to find his radar, after a dismal league weekend.

Striker positioning, striker runs, opposition defensive structure, along with passing/pm (mainly pm) of the midfielders basically. Leave your central midfield open and you're dead essentially, especially if the opposition strikers are faster than your defenders.

I tend to disagree from many seasons of NT management and experimenting with different types of players. PM seems to be the killer, along with striker positioning/runs and whether the opposition defense is exposed. Passing just adds the accuracy to make it even more deadly.
