I also think the juniors will sell for more dollars on the market now.

Not really. Even more, on the contrary! ;-)
First of all, you can't buy juniors to play for your junior team.
And most important - because of junior league, people will now open junior school to take part in junior league. This means much more young players on the market with same need for young players. Ergo, more players + same need = you need to pay less to get the same as before ;)

time will tell but you're ignoring the fact that there will be a reduction of juniors with undesired characteristics, thus creating more wealth when selling.

So it could go either way. Also I'd imagine most people would have junior schools anyway as it's a source of income regardless if there was nothign attached to it.

there will be a reduction of juniors with undesired characteristics

why's that?

it already happens with talent and starting level that gets filtered out. Now you'll have age and if they're a keeper or not as well to filter out. I'd almost bank it in. The only time you might see differences is for those desperately wanting a junior squad who haven't already got enough places or for those so dedicated to the NT that they'll accept almost anything.

I don't really think it will change my selection process. It may mean I ditch older juniors... but I may also keep them to give them a run in the junior team.

Could go both ways. I like the way it encourages users to persist with youth schools though. Maybe some managers will relax their criteria to make sure they have a decent pool to select a junior team from.

Yeah it could go both ways I agree. I'm just basing on a rational argument that if they pick talent and skill level currently, there will be those who cut out 20 yo's and keepers too.

Personalyl doubt it would change my process either as I'd want to keep producing players able to be trained.

Honestly, if I could chose my last 3 distributions of incredibles - I'd prefer them to be gk's...

I'd like to think I can get a handle on things like their pace, tech, passing, & possibly striking ability....but could be a case of cutting my YS capacity from 30 to something like 20 as I'd be hoping to identify those that are cr@p (& too old)?

Thanks for your reply borkos.

I am very tempted to sell all my senior players, and just keep the best eleven seniors, and all my reserves will be juniors on my league matches. So I can afford to employ more juniors, and get involved with this junior league. So I will have eleven seniors, and eleven juniors at least.

Who knows. Maybe the income generated from junior matches will pay for the lot. hopefully my sponsors will pay a little more next season, to help me along with my junior school ;)

Your sponsor will pay you more as you progress towards the top, you haven't reached your limit quite yet!
I wouldnt expect the crowd income from a juniors match to be very big, probably the same order as a friendly... will have to check that one.
-> yep, it will be less than a senior friendly games but it's still an income! it might even be high enough to afford a nice coach :)

it's even smaller than a friendly, just like impact on supporter mood is less than a friendly. In other words, the income you get is just loose change. Nice to have but not really a huge difference :).
