I think this probably shows the "tiers" in Australia.
The top 7 are the A-League regulars.
The next 7 are the top tier of div II that contend for an A-League spot. (DAU obviously an exception, but this shows why sx thought he went up early).
The next dozen (50-55 best rating) are usually comfortably in Div II, they keep the tier above honest, but don't often challenge for a Div II win.
45-50 are mid-lower end of Div II, have to play a qually and occasionally go down and dominate III for a season.
40-45 are in the yo-yo region where they are too good for div III, but can't always stick in div II either.
