Asunto: Australia Cup

I thought the player was only released once the team was up for removal, not just going Bot. I don't see TBF dropping far enough to be taken over by a new manager any time soon.

I think it needs to drop to III first anyway, it seemed to be the rule for TGS last time...
Our rulebook is not complete, it's annoying.

Yeah, you have to be replaced to have the player released. For us thats Div III or IV. TBF won't fall that far anytime soon. I think they'll fall to II very soon though.

I propose NZ Cup Champion vs Aus Cup Champion at after the Aussie Cup is over.

Gee I love conditional match orders! The scrub midfielders give up a 2 goal lead, bring on two stud midfielders to bring the game home. Love it.

Safely through with my trainees with a 3-0 victory over a 10 man, lots of replacements TG. Didn't get any injuries or suspensions so it's all clear and into the final 8. Any side except Achmid now will do.

I put up a fight and have no regrets, losing 3-2 to TBF and being level on shots while 10pts down on the marking is pretty good... it's not satisfying because it's a loss but it's a "good" loss.
I can't really do more with the players I have, it might be time to buy players older than 22-23 for once!
In hindsight I should have played "god" from the start of the game...

Back to the league... got a bit of work to do there to please my furious fans!

Thought you put up a good fight. Whoever moved the posts in the 88th though should lose their job. Thought it was going to go in to make it 3-3 then it clipped the post :(.

Looks like 2 sides to the story of my game....3-2 at the break could easily have been 3-0 but for another howler by my new - soon to be temporary - keeper, & a more than risky centering of the ball by Shane "I should know better" Grierson resulting in conceding a 2nd goal.
Another shocker by the keeper for goal 5 to the opposition....but I felt a game of 2 halves & the wheels really did fall off after half time.

Fair call. I'd have done something similar although winning the cup should qualify a team for the CC next season which adds extra incentive for myself to win the cup again.
