Asunto: S19 Objectives

Time to get cocky again and open the door for a good laugh at the end of the season...

League: top3 as per last 2 seasons, due to U21 commitment (well hopefully) top4 will be good too
Cup: Round4 as a minimum, unless luck stops me like last season... :p
Juniors: promotion to III
U21: (if elected) this will get my priority over my club but qualification to the WC is the only objective really
Ranking: top16 would be nice at the end of the season although because of the above I'm not sure this is feasible.

League: Top 4 is starting to look good.
Juniors: promotion to III - impossible not to. I've stopped caring about the games too much though.
NT: Helped out Auldreekie a little bit. I'm amazed at how much work is required to run an NT.
Ranking: Maintain top 32. Should be able to do this comfortably. - easy.
Cup: Now with a top 32 ranking, and pretty decent, maturing reserves, I might be able to hit 5th round. FAIL.

You've already passed your juniors task without playing a game ;). Well unless we get another hundred odd youth schools.

League: Win the A League. Didn't lose to any A League side I played last season, so I'm quietly confident I can give it a good shake this season.
Cup: Semi Final would be a good achievement, though a back to back title would be very nice and isn't out of the question.
Ranking: Well I'm top by a fair distance last I checked, let's keep it that way. Aim to get over 5000 ranking points by the end of the season, though I'll probably hover at 4700 unless I dominate the league which is unlikely.

league: I feel confident that i will win in my division. Not sure how I'll go with qualifying for the next division.

Juniors: I should have my junior school on the field before the end of this season. I will finally have enough to invest in a good junior coach.

Cup: With my gang I would be happy to get past round 2. i will try to stay in it for as long as I can.

Other: I am not in the Champions Cup, and good luck to those who are.
I am done upgrading my stadium. I would like to build 5,000 seats under cover on my northern end, but I think that can wait for now.
I am thinking of hiring some better players this season to give myself a better chance of winning, incase I get to a qualifying match again this season.
Also considering the sacking of my two worst coaches, and replacing them with better ones.
I'll have to move slow about this, so I don't end up with a club that costs me more, than it makes.

League: finish in 6th or higher. Will be a tough season not being around much internet for atleast the first half of the season, if not into the 2nd half.

Cup: not too concerned about when i drop out. Obviously the longer i stay in it the better for not having to organise friendlies

other: would be nice to get all my trainees organised, and to sell off some non needed players, but that will have to happen during my less busy weeks, when i have a semi stable internet access

We've reached the halfway point. Time to assess how we're all going.

My season started quite well. Training hasn't worked quite as I'd planned, as it's hard to tear myself away from pace training. My young NT hopefuls are definitely enjoying it though.

The Cup treated me well. I reached the semis for the first time ever. The Cup is on my list of things to achieve in the next couple of seasons. With some smart trading, I'm sure my team can do it.

3 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses in the A-League is a better start than I had anticipated. This is my 2nd season in A-League. Definitely going better than my first. One game short of 2nd position, so a top 4 is not out of the equation yet. My team is again very difficult to score against.

Should be a fun last 7 games.

League - top 2, maybe win but not good enough to promote to AL => on track for a title shot & a qualy game?
Cup - maybe nick a spot in last 8 => fell one round short in the last 16
Ranking - top 20 => currently at 18
Juniors - don't care as long as quality juniors pop at a decent age => going ok
NT - will continue working to improve Patterson (& a couple of others) from an U21 sense => Patterson & Williams have been regular defenders at U21 level....a couple of 19yo's are on track along with younger players.

Cup: I passed this objective but can't help but feel disappointed after going down to TBF 2nd XI with my 1sts in the final. Had a real opportunity to qualify for the CC again but instead TBF outshot me in the final to re-qualify themselves.

Ranking: I won't get past 5000 points this season unless I win everything from here on, so this objective is looking a little shaky.


I guess I've had a reasonably good season, 2nd in the cup and looking solid for a top 2 A League finish which is something I haven't done in a long time. Junior league I'm also 2nd at the turn too so I can't really complain too much. Probably disappointed in failing to qualify for the CC again given I had such a good opportunity to do so. We'll see what we can do in the remainder of the A League season and hope results fall my way.

I'll judge my season at the end of it.
Apart from the Cup where I went further than planned, everything else is a work in progress...

I have to say I expected the U21 campaign to be slightly easier but it's getting back on track anyway. I'm wondering where the staff is somedays but I know we'll all be pulling our weight when the big games come so I'm not concerned.

League: tick. 3rd again for the 3rd time in a row... time to move up the ladder!

Cup: tick. Went 1 better actually and was close to upset TBF with a narrow 3-2 loss.

Juniors: tick. I was excited about the new addition, not so sure now considering I played Tribe 25 times and Cometer twice (2 wins!)... I think the formula needs twicking as I find wednesday friendly a lot more attractive and entertaining. just my view.

U21: BIG TICK! really happy as this was the only real focus of my season. Exciting campaign in every respect, the mood when left, righ, top and down... I highly recommend the experience if you have an great amount of time to dedicate to the cause. Good luck to the new manager :)

Ranking: missed out on a top16 by one spot... not bothered, top 16 it will be at the end of next season :)
