Nah, the problem with having no restrictions is most of the teams are pretty similar as the team picks itself most times. That's why when I did it I tried putting caps to try and get a few different strategies in place. Problem with caps though are they are hard to work out to be a true reflection of strength difference.

In all fairness, given the amount of time and interest people have for our NTs, I think the easier the better...
plus with the current format it's going to be very tight which is not a bad thing for those involved.

Yeah that's true. Sometimes its the simple stuff that gets the best response rate.

so does a player score points for you if he plays out of position....eg. I pick the incomparable Joe Bloggs in midfield but he plays as a striker in a game....do I still get the points.

Yes, In the above situation he would score points as a striker
It shouldn't happen though unless we have an injury crisis and players come on from the bench outwith set orders.

Despite league rules we went into extra time today and we came out with a 2-1 win so scoring is a little higher this week. With 1 goal each and 8 points apiece Stephenson and Storey share the mom award taking a 5 point bonus each.

A 4-1 win over Indonesia gave most quite a few points today. Uber's failure to include Scott Stephenson who gained a 5 point bonus for a hat trick and the 10 point bonus for man of the match means that the early leader has now been over hauled at the top.

A 3-0 victory this week meant that the defence were finally able to pick up some decent points and if you were lucky enough to include Loyd Goulding in your team you also had the 33 points available for his man of the match performance.
