I wanted to get a feel for the level of assistants in Australia to determine whether I should be upgrading now that my money situation is improving.

i still have triple excellents as my assistants. the wage bill for my players is bad enough as it is in div II

I'm at 39 though I probably should be 42-43 by now other than I've just been too lazy to change.

35 and likely to upgrade heavily next season.
