Asunto: »[Cup] S20 - Australia Cup

I've already sent my apology to the team my 2nd XI is going to butcher on Wednesday.

I'm guessing this year's Cup will be hotly contested. But who can knock over Tribe?

My aim is final 4.

I'm hoping Tribe knocks over Tribe personally as it's going to be pretty hard to see any other side outplaying them for the win.

A final 4 spot would be good, I'd like the cup win to give me a route into the Champions Cup again, felt I lost a great opportunity last season losing the final to TBF.

I can't beleive you got a team with an active manager...

He's only been in the game 4 days... fancy drawing an A-League team in your first game! Tough break.

Tribe will indeed hamstring Tribe this season as we become dedicated to pace training. The aim will be for none of our starting 11 to play in the cup. That will make progressing tough.

Active mgr for me too....looks to have been live since late Feb....but didn't check how active in terms of transfers etc.

Some people might find those games boring, but I love them. Watching my gun striker for the first time after climbing 10 form points was as good as I thought it would be and is there anything more fun than watching a magical pace winger blast past a tragic defender?

Problem is these big scores just become routine and you get sick of them. I piled on 28 goals. The most important thing was having no injuries or suspensions and thus having a full squad to use against Tribe on Sunday.

Yup. They become so boring that I play first teamers just to make it interesting to watch. No other logical way to do the cup though, unless they did a group stage first.

complete random draw would add a new dimension as there would therefore be the possibility of top seeds being eliminated due to taking on other top seeds. Problem is people would see this as unfair as soon as they drew a top seed in the opening round. I just find the cup is boring until about round 4-5.

cup = no need to schedule friendlies for training

Rested 3 who are on 2 yellows to be sure they play in Sunday's game....+ new tactic, although no idea on that given opposition. :-(

Nice upset results for a new manager - Hankers at Cape Jaffa. A nice 2-1 win against forty niners. He had a nice tactic and everything :)
