It's getting interesting.
I'm happy with my draw as it's the kind of team I need to benchmark myself with to see if I can make it upstairs...

I avoided Krayzees so anything else was a bonus. Didn't really want to take on Krayzees in the 5th round of all things. I'm still uncomfortable when it comes to 5th round matches ;).

and Baldivis gets the dream draw.

There goes me...TBF....WTF!

TBF are 0 from 3 in the A League and have been pretty well beaten every game. I beat them 5-1 and it could have been a lot more with my full team available. If you can't beat TBF or at least be competitive then I'll be very surprised. Minkee only lost to them 3-2 last season and since then TBF have deteriorated in skill points due to the number of players aged 32+.

Essentially you know what tactic they'll use, so you should be able to come up with something that works ;). As a basic hint, mark Thompson...

Yeah, I did read that in a recent post....just haven't spent time on tactics as only logging in to set teams/training & have a quick look at forums & TM. Need to grab an hour later to sort something.

Enjoy your prize money Minkee for making your first 1/4 final appearance in the cup :). Depending on who you draw you might be able to make the semis with a bit of luck.

Ando was annoying in my game. Eventually broke through and won the game comfortably 6-0.

Floodgates opened and we're through to the quarters. Nice. :)

A quick fix tactic didn't come off...had the better of possession & territory but Catala was left isolated & too far up the pitch at times...although I thought quality of ball could have been a bit better from midfield.
At least I now have an idea of what's needed in my league clashes with TBF.
No more cup for this season so can get on with training....& can we avoid auto relegation?

Considering we were down to 10 men after 17mn and we went 1 nil down just after half time, I'm pretty pleased with the end result.
Even more considering I spent the little time I had for preparing this game this morning on checking Uber's U21 tactic for friday.
I was beating myself before the game for not giving this one a good go...

This game is a perfect exemple why offside trap will let you down at some point during a game. I don't trust them if I don't believe I can score more than this trap allows, risky tactic from Chelsea on that one...

So now it will be The Comets, TMP, TBF or the Frogs... I'd like a replay with TBF or taking on the Frogs to be honest. I don't rate my chances against The Comets or TMP...

The underdogs Baldivis FC continue their miracle run in the cup!!! Suprised to come up against 10 men with no subs which quickly changed to 9 men making the task at hand considerably easier.

But its come at a cost, both my first team strikers injured and another one suspended FML!

I didnt quite end up with a team from my wish list!
After finding out I can challenge for a spot in the AL this week, I'll find out what it is to play AL top3 material... it's part of the process I believe. Going overseas til monday night is not going to help my case but I'll give this one a go anyway... :)

Well it wasn't the draw Minkee wanted and probably not my ideal game in terms of difficulty either. The plus side is it should bring some decent cash. Paredes,Gaina,Stathakis,Erdogan all dropping form like flies. Probably as good a time as any to play me.

I've made my third consecutive Cup semi-final, looking to make it third consecutive Cup victory as well. Would be keen to play the Aussie champions, not doubt I would get thrashed though, eh cometer ;)
