Hi all!
After the missed Qualification for the World-Cup I want to become your new Nationalcoach. I`m really experienced and i`m sure that I can bring your team one step forward. I want to be honest too: I don`t really know the players, but I was in this situation also before.
To me:
I`m 21 years old and live in Schaffhausen (Switzerland). I play football in my free time.
To my sokker career:
I was 2 seasons Nationalcoach of Switzerland and made the Quali for the very first World-Cup. Then I was 2 years coach of Armenia (Hayastan), 2 years I coached Austria (Österreich) and then I was also coach of Lietuva, there I made the Quali for the 1/8 Final on the World-Cup.
I was already Suisse Champions and Cup winner. This seasons I will play for the 2nd time in the Champions-Cup.
So this is all, for the moment.
Ask me if you want to know more :)
greets Andy

Hi Andy. You look to be a very accomplished manager.
Thanks for your nomination. I'm sure the others will come along with some questions. I'm actually off in Europe at the moment. Spent a few hours at the start, landing in Zurich and training to Geneva before heading into France. Very nice country you have!
Which region of Switzerland are you from? And what is your native language?
Welcome and good luck.

Hi vivski,
Schaffhausen is in the north, near to Zurich.
I went to school for a few years in Zurich too.
My native language is German, but I speak Italian too, and a little bit of English ;)
Thanks for the nice words to Switzerland, but your country is even nicer.
I`ve never been in Australia, but I want!

I want say something about the tactics I would play:
Against strong teams 5 defenders are quiet a must. I like to play with 2 strikers, so a 5-3-2 can be a good solution. When I play with this 5-3-2 the throw-ins are extremly important, thats a good way to score.
An other tactic I like is a 4-4-2, that means with 2 defensive middfielders, 1 winger and 1 offensiv middfielder. Like this we can dominate a game. The oppunant has to play with 5 defenders (otherwise our winger has a lot opf space) and we ca^n get more ball posession.
My idea:
My aim would be, to bring Australia to the next World-Cup. Therefor I would try to make a step forward in the World-Ranking. So we could get an easier Quali Group next time.
But: I would like to test a few young (23-24) players too. They are the future, and it`s important that they get trained really good.
Greets :)

what do you make of the new ME changes? how will it affect your tactics? if wingers lose their potency, will you ever play a tactic without wingers (aka mine ;P)?
Hi :)
To be honest, I don`t really know. I have to try then. But it could be good to have a more compact team, that means to not let space between the players. Because then the players can play faster...
Perhaps a 4 men defense could be bether in future, with 2 defensive middfielders to destroy the game from the oppunent...
Let`s see...

-> The new engine can be a chance for smaller sokker-countries like Australia to make a big step forward. If I find a good tactic soon, we can win perhaps a few places in the World-Ranking...
My questions I'm asking are going to be based on concerns I've had over recent times.
1) What do you intend to do in regards to getting interest in the National Team which in all honesty hasn't been as high as it has in earlier seasons?
2) What roles outside of the match preparation do you intend to fulfill? Please briefly explain each role you aim to achieve if you get elected and why you see those roles as important.
3) How do you deal with/respond to criticism after performances assuming that the criticism is attempted to be delivered in a constructive manner? What do you believe about people using constructive criticism at an NT manager? How do you deal with/ respond to praise after performances?
4) Can you guarantee us now that if you were elected you'd give 100% every week? Will you look to use innovative solutions that our community may not have had much exposure with, thus improving our knowledge in tactical options?
There's a couple to get you going. I have opinions on each of these but I'm most interested in your own opinions about them.
Good luck with the election.

Which Australian player is your favorite one, and why is it Willis?
Australia is really interessting country. You have a small community, but a few strong players. And: you didn`t qualify for the World-Cup, so I would have the chance to create something for the future. And: you speak English, this is important for the communication :)
To your quesions cometer:
1)
I want to write always something before the games.
And it would be a nice feature, if I could for example always present an other from the players, perhaps little interviews with some managers.
-> The Nationalteam should be interessting, and it should be a pleasure to see the games and discusse the mistakes, and the good things.
2) I don`t really get the question, can you explain a little bit easier? :) thanks
3) It`s easy: I need criticsm! Its always good. But of course, it has to be constructive critic. Then I can learn and make bether the next match. And: Many eyes always see more then only two.
-> If we can talk about games, then its good for the community. And critic belogs to a discussion. Of course: when I would make good games, it can be praise too ;)
4) Of course, otherwise I wouldn`t candidate.
I hope the answers can help you to get a picture of me :)

I think cometer in question 2 is asking about what are the NT manager tasks you will be doing yourself, and which ones you will be looking to get help with from other users.
Making a tactic and player selections each week is obviously an important part of being the NT manager, but as you would know from your previous NT experience there can be a lot more involved in the job.
