If I use my 1st's I probably don't even need to get my tactic right :p.

Winning isn't my issue exactly, it's planning for winning with the minimum amount of impact for training/fan mood.

Well vivski, you know I'm going to play my firsts. And I'm going to bump up my ticket prices. :)

Should be an option to price discriminate and force travelling supporters to pay $400 a ticket ;).

oh dear, that's what I call a cup massacre. Puts my game into perspective now as I was going to complain about how many saves did Bonano want to pull out in my 3-1 win (34 shots to 3) demolition of TBF.

oh WOW! Thats the first time ive seen 6 of the top 8 ranked teams all falter at this stage of the cup. Disappointed to have gone out this round.. but not overly fussed in the end.

yeah, tough break but as I mentioned in an ealier post, not fussed about league this season....great if I win it & a bigger bonus if I go back up but wanted to see how far I could go in the cup.
hoping for a decent draw next week....although don't think it matters too much at quarter final stage...all should be tough.

My 2 wingers leave the club 2moro on the TM....if I can't replace them by next week I'd say that's my cup run done.
Slowly rebuilding this season....that'll make it 7 first teamers gone from end of last season....replaced by 3....some work still to be done.

Yeah, I'm certainly in a favourable position, though I still believe there are teams capable of knocking me off if my side isn't having a good day. Would be good to take something away from the season.

I thought this would probably be the end of my Cup defence. Tong's team is too strong to be taking on with your 3 primary defenders all suspended. I couldn't adequately cover both wings and Tong exploited that.

It's a shame, 'cos I was looking good to go to the semis once again. I have some really good depth in my squad, but losing 3 was 1 too many.

Oh well, good luck for the rest of the Cup, Tong. You're a top 2 contender for sure.

Richter and Kohler both had no problems dribbling divine defender Kanter (bad form admittedly). Just to rub more salt into the wound Stewart also got injured.

That's Stewart, Puca, Sterjovski and reserve defender Haugen all injured at the moment.... I don't think I can actually field 11 players worthy of taking the pitch in A-League this weekend.

I don't think I have XI players worthy of taking the field in A-League when everyone is fit, let alone when there are injuries or red cards.

Wow, lots of upsets this week. I'm a bit lucky to win, since I played my Steel Fury tactic, rather than my updated Moose Take-Down. I was a bit concerned after conceding the first goal due to some butter-finger goal keeping. But Sabljak did well to hold the fort after a 4 on 2 break a short while after my equaliser. I like the idea of playing with two wingers - it uses the open space to create a lot of chances. I just wish that my strikers could head the ball a little better.

And sorry about Gregoor, I don't think that helps your injury woes.

No problem. Croxall will just have to haul his 33yo butt around for the full 90'.
At least now I can focus 100% on my A-League title defence.
