it's always a lottery with penalties, more ticked that my fan mood went down 2 levels
2010-08-26 02:22:28
2?

Lost 4 levels here.... Kind of sucks given that I'd got back to decent fan mood for a while, only to have it plummet just before my 2nd home game this season.

don't worry I'll give your fans something to cheer about on sunday...

Looks like Ach, you and I are all in the same wagon this season...

1/4s
Cumlionibus - The Comets
Melbourne Magpies - Chelsea.F.C
Tong FC - Da Minkees
FC de BEARS - Krayzee Coconuts

worst possible draw...
I'd like to think I will go down against the future winner though :)

almost best possible draw from my side :). 2/3 teams that could potentially beat me play each other whilst I quite possibly draw the easiest. Only thing that would have been better would have been MM facing KC but I won't complain. 2nd bot side in a row :).

I'd like to think I will go down against the future winner though :)

You better hope you win then :p.

I'll stick with Tong :)
Underated and always coming up with a good tactic... got rid of TMP this season and disposed of TBF in their best days as well. Shame about the lack of consistency but I don't think Im well placed to make such a comment...

Yeah, no doubt Tong is looking impressive, I just think that my avg ratings are going to hurt people somewhere when I'm getting 65's.

Underated and always coming up with a good tactic

:D he's had 2 tactics in about 5 seasons!
2010-08-26 10:49:35
so long as they're successful Minkee's statement is still correct :p.
2010-08-26 10:49:56
Incidently he was my pick for the win from a few weeks ago too. Prybys is one of the best players in the country now and Kamionek is awesome too. His lack of tactics is what I would say will stop him from winning it.

That's why I came up with a new tactic for this season's Cup. Just like how the Magpies were the inspiration for my last tactic, Steel Fury inspired me to make a new one. ;) My old tactic was outdated, and didn't play to my strengths anymore.

Had a win but disappointed with the result. Should've spanked them.

Chelsea or Comets next round. Good to see two II.01 teams in the semis. :)
2010-09-01 14:47:44
Cruised through to the semi final and haven't as yet been truly tested, which probably helps when all the favourites crash out in one week and I'm left using my strongest against sides from lower divisions.

That should change next week against whoever I play (Tong FC or Krayzees Coconuts). Don't know who I'd prefer to play, both have pros and cons so I might just leave it down to what Sokker throws me.

Got knocked out in the semis last season and lost in the final the season before that. Hoping I can go one better and take the cup but I'd definitely like to give myself a solid chance at that by winning next week.

Congrats to all the winners tonight and good luck with the draw tomorrow.

Good luck for the 1/2s!
4 injuries and a suspended man in a 17 player roster is a limiting factor too tricky to handle at this stage of the competition, I played the counter with what was left, it didnt work out... best team won by a mile.
