so you know texas, california but never heard of queensland, new south wales, victoria for exemple?
I find it hard to believe especially with super 14 being so big in europe...

Good result by the way :)

Texas and California appear quite often in movies and sitcoms, books as well...that's the reaspn why more people know about them than about Queensland ;)

I've read a bit about Australia though, some time ago...but still these abbreviations were a riddle for me :P

and to be sincere, I've never heard about Super 14...I assume that it's connected with rugby? :P

yeah it is. Mind you googling any of those abbreviations should give you the answer anyway.

AEST and AEDST shouldn't be too difficult to understand though, I'm sure you'd use something similar, perhaps you use CET and CEST.

@ Andreasson

Congrats on a well overdue win. Thought that our offense functioned really well and having the extra defense on the wing created some difficulty for Peru's defense as they'd intercept the pass to the wing only to be caught and tackled and then left a mile of space for Stewart to run.

A few saved penalties certainly helped but it's something we've been needing as we haven't really been helped in a lot of games.

I guess our biggest problem was our lack of covering their winger. We left them much more space then what they left our winger and that gave them a number of paths to goal scoring chances. Had we protected that a bit better I doubt Peru would have even come close to our shot count.

It just goes to show what black and white tv do to the youth of the eastern block :)

Great result :)
The first half-time was really good. Our defense played well and the two strikers were cold as ice ;)

The second hald wasn`t so good then. Our defense became problems and we needed a strong Papaluca to save the win.

But hey, we won and are unbeaten in the last 3 games. It has to go on like this now :)

Oh no...
Next week we should play against Hungary. But it seems that their coach did not make a friendly in this season :( I challenged him now and hope that he will accept.

What's the back-up plan?
2010-10-03 14:51:18
I challenge already now 6 other nations.
I wait now 1 day, and tomorrow I search other nations and write something in the National Fixture thread in the International Forum.

Other ideas?
