How did THAT happen? They got pumped too! Bit of a shame, but RG deserves their place in the top league.

So close for fantum (Melbourne Magpies)... denied by Krayzee in a thriller. Next season I reckon they'll be in.

Necevski was sent off just on half time. So no real striker up there for Cometer. Look for a strong Cup run from the Comets next season

a 61 from RG is a huge shock, they have always had to take a back seat to the A-League team dropping down, and now, they have their shot in A-League. Not 1 quality team, but 8.
Will be interesting. The top II.01 team for a while in Tong, vsing the top II.03 team for a long time in Krayzees, vs the top non autorelegation team in II.04 in Real Galah. All we would have needed is someone to step aside for Snappa, and the top Div II team from each league in recent history would all be playing one another in A-League.

tong is a bit of a weird case. Was definitely the top (or potential top) for many seasons, until he decided to "quit" the game and sell up. Then he went on to rebuild, which was the time in which you you timed your run perfectly to take over, and continue developing into a true A-League quality side

I thought Real Galah gave themselves every chance with the tactic they used. They were countering very nicely. The Comets lone striker had an army to fight through whenever he got the ball. Love the Pink and Grey strip too, its been a while since I watched RG and its a memorable uniform.

MM vs Coconuts was a great game. MM dominated the game for stretches and produced some great through-balls but couldn't get a finish. Of course when KC went forward they always looked dangerous with Maras/Wirrapanda and looked like they could have scored another couple. Very entertaining for a 1-0 game.
