When I read this comment I figured you had drawn either Tribe, Team Moose Power or myself.

It's not exactly my ideal draw either but it's getting down to that stage where every rounds going to be a bad draw given how low I've been seeded.

Yeah i was wondering what youron about uber....want to swap opponents? I got Moose.

So 6 A League sides left + 2 former A League sides.

I thought Steel Fury defended and scrapped well but quality shone through in the end. The game evened up once Erdogan was hacked down as I don't think the Fury defense could land a tackle on him up until that point. Fortunately it's just a 9 day injury (I was dreading more). Credit also to the Fury who were a little unfortunate not to have scored on a few occasions as for a brief spell of about 10-15min created most of their chances and had me worried sitting on a 1 goal lead with my most likely player to create chances off the field. I then converted a few late chances from throw ins to blow the lead out to 3 but for a lot of the game the Fury were in with a chance.

At least uber got his wish of a big crowd and both sides get some much valued funds.

I'm sure next time the game will be even closer.


Hmmm, Tribe, Team Moose Power, Frogs or Achmids next week. Don't really want any of them but with a fit team I'm confident I could knock off any of them. Tribe's obviously a concern though.

I felt I got the tactic just right, but didn't really have the personal to pull it off playing my 2nds. My firsts would not have done any better though. Thought I was a chance after the injury, but really needed your right back sent off. The missed one on one just after half time by my guy at 1-0 was the beginning of the end. Well done and good luck.

Very fortunate to shut out TBF. (They did play with 10 men for much of the game and we injured Bonano to boot)

I was amazingly lazy with my tactic, didn't even match up sides with a bot team :( Not to mention using a VG keeper the entire game.

Kanter also picked up 2 yellows and will miss this weekend. All in all though we did more than enough and advanced.

What a joke. Clearly the better team after 90 mins....missed pen inside 10 mins then they score a couple of mins later. From 30-40 mins we have 5 or 6 clear cut chances to nil (& I mean only GK to beat) but my strikers manage to somehow not find the back of the net. Even in 2nd half we seemed to have the better of exchanges....but as soon as it came to extra time I just sat here thinking "you know what's coming when you haven't put them away".

Also, only 15k suppoters to the game...WTF is that about?!

Nice cup game... We initially went down because of a defense fumble (this things happen when half of your defense is on red or is injured) and I had to wait the last 10mn to see the game turned upside down and give us the deserved qualification for our third cup 1/4 in a row.
Next week is my last week here before heading overseas for a break so it looks like my cup run will end shortly... shame because the fan mood and the money is enjoyable... over 1.5mil of ticket income this week :)

5th round curse returns as soon as we drop back to 3 divs. I'd be pretty sure both naph and myself view this fixture the same way... Worst possible draw :p.

On the positive side it should be good ticket income. I'll give it my best crack and see what happens. I suppose naph has a few injury concerns atm so anything is possible :).

I'm happy with my draw.
Probably for the reason that I have no reasons to be happy with it so I might as well be happy with it for the sake of it.
