Todos
As part of my rebuilding phase I am playing my friendly each week with a bunch of 17yr olds in the hope of finding a handful of very talented future superstars. Because of my Sk-apathy I have just been playing against one team with no concern for results/ranking/income that results from these friendlies. So I ask...
What effect is my plunging ranking (losing every friendly) doing to my club?
Does it influence sponsorship dollars? Attendance at my league games? My street cred?

Yes. And as a result yes. No (I don't think it affects your street cred, at least not in Australia)

Seeding for next season's cup.
Slight decrease in fan mood which in turn results in a slight decrease of sponsorship, though nothing really to worry about.
Does it influence sponsorship dollars?
Yeah it does, but do you really care about losing $100-$200? It's minor, a league game or cup game impacts much more.
Attendance at my league games?
Unlikely, given attendance is determined largely from price of tickets, weather, supporter mood and fan size and supporter mood won't drop much from a loss in a friendly.
Bottom line it doesn't matter unless you want a higher cup seeding or prefer to have a high ranking for bragging rights.

Cheers. Hopefully my experiment works and I unearth a couple of studly players... and sell the others off for a few bucks.
