Asunto: To Sell or not to sell???

Hi all,

Just need an opinion on wether i should sell the following player and make a few $$$ (if i am lucky) or keep them in the team and let them get old. I have Some good and younger players to replace them...not as good...but about 80% of their level....

Patrick de Lévis , age 29
value: 1 226 000 AU$
wage: 14 960 AU$

excellent stamina tragic keeper
unearthly pace adequate defender
very good technique good playmaker
weak passing excellent striker


Daniel Popovic, age 29
value: 1 103 600 AU$
wage: 15 680 AU$

solid stamina tragic keeper
unearthly pace solid defender
good technique excellent playmaker
solid passing formidable striker

IMO they are already "old" (at least as far as transfer value goes) so won't sell particularly well. If they are going to be good enough to be first team (or even first off the bench) players for the next season or three then I'd keep them.

Unless of course they are taking a training slot. Then I'd sell them.

Ditto, though you look safe in II.03 so i would sell and buy better

Naphtali - When i say grow old..i meant keep them in the 2nds until they are like 34 or 35 as backups....but they will be taking up training spot (like you said).....and better off training the younger strikers....i was 70% towards selling them before the post ....its more like 100% now...

Minkee - I am safe this season.....but next season might be alot harder with more experienced teams coming up....

Never, ever, ever waste a 2nd's training spot with an oldie! Your trainee's should be good enough to cover for a game or two pretty quickly.
