They’re an impressive side and I think they’ve been finalists or semi finalists of the champions cup several seasons in a row now too. You won’t be the only team that gets beaten by them.

Well it was never really going to happen against a team rating 80 was it, but certainly not with only three available defenders. Kept the damage low, and got some minutes into eight of my ten trainees so it wasn't a total loss... and half of the $1.35m gate takings was ok too :)

I generally save my disgrace for the last few matches of the league every season.

Still trying to get us a 2nd spot but everytime we start moving we lose to a team lower ranking then ourselves :(.

Well the other team rated 10 points higher than me at a rating of 78.4 (this is higher than the Ostereich NT did against us last match)
Went down as expected but given the rating difference, it was a pretty respectable 0-3 loss

A nice little bonus 600k to the kitty

And I just realised looking back, I only just missed out again on being on the correct side of the draw (away from the top teams) by a few rating points. I think last time it was by as little as 30, this time it was missing out by about 90.

Ah well, to next season!
