Are you serious? Of all the teams I could have played, I got the team that knocked off the number 1 seeded team in the first week of the Champions league and happens to rate 75.
Sokker really hates me sometimes.

It looks like a rating war this competition so far...

Think my opponent was lucky to come away with only a 4-1 hiding after the amount of balls Erdogan fluffed from the wing. Still it's a solid enough win to raise my supporter mood a little bit and now I need to wait for daily updates to occur to work out how badly I'm going to get smashed next round.

Those updates are late these days... nothing's been mentioned though...

Yeh playing the team that knocked out last years champion first round, rating 76, nd playing with 9 men, never stood a chance.

Anyway, someone has to come up against the favourites in the early rounds, its just a shame I did. Good luck to cometer, hope the draw stays nice to you, and you can continue to bring ranking points back in the Australia

Would be almost hysterical if I drew your opponent from round 2 for round 3. I figure from the sides left, about half I could be competitive with, half I'd be struggling against. Rating of 76 doesn't really bother me on it's own, it's rating 76 with solid tactical base that destroys almost all chance of causing an upset.

He has a high rating (well as high as the best us top 4 have managed in Aus), but there are some major technical flaws in his tactic I think you can exploit.

I would like to see you come up against the team I lost too, just to compare how your team/tactic would compare to the short time I had XI up against him.

Anyway, despite tactical flaws, a 71 rating won't be easy to beat, but I think you can definitely do it, and like the team I played, his tactic sets him up for getting red cards (its just a shame I somehow managed them), which, due to his tactics, should leave you with a lot of breathing space

Depends how he plays. Obviously if he goes in with something similar that he did last round I'd be quietly confident of coming away with the win, but he's had a few other tactics that have at least looked alright from the tactic view. I'd need to do a little more observations before I'm comfortable as he could just as likely press next week.

Certainly was one of the half I thought I could be competitive with, so it's a good outcome from that perspective. I didn't really want to draw either Croatian team or the Spanish team that's getting 78+ marks.

Looks like a few of the top teams have drawn other top teams so it does open the draw up a little if I can get through this next round.

Can't really believe that result. Had ample chances and failed to put them away and they scored their first 3 goals from their 1st 3 shots. Effectively it was 1 from 12 against 4 from 10 by the end. They had more chances when I changed tactic which turned out a bad move but the damage was done from earlier. Was I infront, they may never have had anywhere near that number of shots, so it's a little frustrating to say the least.

Oh well back to the domestic competition.

Good luck to both agbell and vivski in the CC. This should be starting next Thursday and I'd like to hope you both try to get as far as possible.

As usual, it'll depend on the draw. My CC history has been marred with drawing the strongest teams early. Maybe I'll get a break this time around. Round 1 draw looks okay for me, but agbell has his work cut out for him.

I'll be putting everything toward the CC this season.
