maybe you should consider coming back to the A League again ;). Could really use you back firing given the quality of experience we've lost over the last few seasons.

That is what I call a good night's work. My first cup semi-final. My first real win with the new ME and a Average mark: 69.6 to boot!!! Does the rankings mean:

Fury vs Chelsea
That means a tasty Fury - Chelsea double header next week. Pretty sure I can trounce Chelsea with my seconds on Sunday :)

Shall I assume you have Origin tix and I'll see you at the Caxton? Or are you being a responsible parent/husband this year?

I am unresponsible whenever possible. I will be at origin so lock in the Caxton. There is talk of leaving work and doing an afternoon session starting in town, so if you are in Brissie early and feel like going old school, let me know :) It would be funny to watch our sokker game instead ha ha.

The draw might decide otherwise, it's only based on rating on the "away" side of the draw.

This season is the worst ever with injuries and little interest...

If I play my cards right, I really shouldn't have too many problems reaching the final. I'll either be playing Frogs or Chelsea and can't see either of them posing too much of a threat to my strongest possible side. That being said, Chelsea have improved their squad in recent seasons whereas Frogs haven't so I'd probably prefer Frogs.

You guys were right, no chelsea double header for me. Very happy to be playing frogmeisters :)

2 squad changes Adkins and Badeau in Marsh and Perosh out- Very happy with the result.. Might have to decide upon the creation of a new tactic!

Sigh. My run of consecutive cup wins is over as a result of the new match engine. (34 unbeaten games in a row). I knew I'd lose going into penalties, it almost always happens when a side dominates an entire game, misses 2 penalties in game and somehow ends up in a penalty shoot out.

There's absolutely nothing more I could have done, except maybe sub Bowen on which I should have seriously thought about given he rarely misses penalties.

At the end of the day there's not much point in making any more of a deal out of the result, it's not going to change it. Congrats agbell on making the cup final and I'm pretty shattered not to be in it given on any other day I would have won that.

What on earth are you doing with your pitch though, that was downright horrible. I don't know how it's possible to header a cross from the edge of the goal box, make the ball hit the ground and then bounce over the top of the crossbar for a goal kick :S. Felt like we were playing on a trampoline surface for most of the game and that obviously worked against my side as well.

Edit: Haha I'm surprised I escaped without injury there, the pitch condition is now 14% so it must have been around 40% before the match.
Edit 2: Oh you got to be kidding me. I've got to play on the same pitch again on Sunday but this time at 14%. Sigh.

Wow! - Pushed SF all the way to Pens. Cant watch the game til I get home but pretty happy to have gone this far with my ageing squad. Now to keep going with the Div 2 season and promote to the A-League!
