Schmick has quite a high ratings firsts, so I'm just hoping my seconds (which rated less) have a better skill distribution to win the match for us

Don't have to worry about drawing Tong FC for another week after DAU kindly gifted them a place in the top 8 seeds. Ideally would like to avoid both Krayzees and Frogs as the rest look like comfortable match ups.

Great extra time win for Steel Fury takes us through to our first quarter final after a really good match against Chelsea. Without Elrich between the sticks and with a whole bunch of new players not quite gelling yet, I don't think I will trouble the big guns next week.
63 rating for me today, despite resting 3 key midfielders. Wasn't expecting to rate so high, or else I would have rested a couple more players for training reasons.

Think it's about my 4th consecutive quarter final too, might be my 5th. With the loss of Badeau due to suspension and no change from Tigermaster, it was always going to end up with how many I'd win by rather than if I'd win. I'd back myself in future rounds but it will end up costing me a few training weeks. Fortunately I can't draw Tribe/TMP or Achmids next week but the field that is left might make it too challenging to get away with playing trainees.
