I have to say that I really enjoyed watching that cutting in tactical movement during the game. Everyone running towards goal, and then the fastest guy on the pitch goes 90 degress and runs across the pitch :)
I tried to make a last ditch TL gamble to get an old defender, but didn't have enough money.
My tactic was working a bit strangely though. The strikers were standing still in the middle of the pitch whilst the winger was shooting down the line. They then too ages to get down the field and I hardly ever had 2 strikers in the box for the cross and then they were standing on the edge of the box instead of inside it. Not sure what happened there.
Also noticed after the game that my pitch is only 60%. I think that long range goal must have taken a deflection off the rubbish turf :(
It was a very close game and just another TMP vs SF game that gets decided on a coin toss.
We've got 2 big games against the comets now.

I don't think you'll have too many problems beating my side, though I'll put up more of a fight then last season. Having Erdogan and O'Donoghue (2 of my 3 best midfielders) in horrid form makes things a little tougher. On the bright side, picked up another defender that was in form and Stromgren is rapidly rising in form so my defense should be a lot tougher to breach.

Lots of upsets this week. Comets go down to a shocker, not that cometer is playing anymore. Looks like I'll get to play my reserves for another week next week.

Gambled playing trainees and no striker. Thought I had enough to win. Sadly not.
That is a sad set of semi final's for Australia. 4-0 and 8-0 with second teams played :(
On the plus side, a final next week to play! and then I might clean out a few more players!
