Should get a home game & full training with B team playing league this weekend.

Another cup sellout with 20,30,40. I had it at 20,40,50 but didn't want to get greedy and turn everyone away, since Achmid's fans were not in top mood. The fans were treated to a fairly even match.

Achmid had a bit too much quality where it mattered.
I feel it'd be different if my #1 striker wasn't stuck on tragic form. When scouting, I forgot how important form is.

Not the first choice draw I wanted but with Ronaldino starting the season "3 zip" & my supporters in love (for now)....time to up the ticket prices !!

You still pulled in a nice 75k for that loss which I'm sure so early in the game, is a nice little boost in finances

Pretty obvious I need to work on a tactic or 3...as haven't bothered since joining...other than a quickly knocking up something for the sake of just that.
Had some clear one on one chances but couldn't beat the GK....now to sell some older players & drop the wage bill.

Yep, a great cup run considering his sell-off... although I have noticed he has been splashing some cash... 9 new players in the last fortnight

A couple of trainees, and a couple of random oldies to make sure I get enough wins to avoid auto-relegation before selling again

Beaten by the ME. I swear the game does not want me to perform against agbell.

Injures my winger with not so much as a red card when I had been comfortably leading the game before this, then apparently I give away a penalty kick against an SI striker (who I had no issues tackling most of the game), and it was a SD defender in Unearthly form who game away the penalty kick. Even the 2nd goal was a runaway with the SI striker (which even being SD, will still be dropped to at least Divine and my defenders are D/SD and showed they had no issues with him most of the game).

Stats themselves were relatively even but in my favour, and the game appeared that way too. And prior to my winger getting injured, it was even more in my favour (the game turned around a bit when my main attacking weapon was no longer)

Definitely feel robbed as all the ME went against me once again. Just feels like the other match we had where I lost a number of players due to injuries in the lead up to the match and then had an injured GK during the match.

Yeah I'd say that was my one and only shot at winning it any time soon with you coming back in to the mix of things. What a shame the ME couldn't just give us a fair crack

All you can ever do is stack the odds in your favour as best you can. Ultimately its still a roll of the dice. Agbell did well to put his team in a position to win it, as did you. No shame in losing the final.

It may be all you can do, but I'm getting mighty sick of this sort of thing happening, especially in big matches like this, where a team like mine, will not get many opportunities (only through a lot of work in buying players was I even able to put this strength on the park, and now I need to sell them all off again).

Of course I would have more opportunities if you werent coming back (I am very happy you are coming back, so don't take that as me not wanting you too), but I can't compete with people who have massive bank balances made when Australia was at it's peak, not seriously anyway, so when an opportunity arises, and you managed to make the most of it and have the better of the game, only for the ME to turn around an say NAH, it make it very very frustrating. I should have just done what I was going to do, let my 2nds lose a couple of rounds ago, let the cup fizzle in to nothing as it has for x number of seasons, and not been frustrated by the ME again
