Yep, despite the shot-count it was a high quality game to watch. A lot of wasted shots from your guys was probably the difference in the end.
If I had my time again, I would rebuild that tactic. I completely played into your hands trying to go up the guts with the two close strikers. Tulp was immense at DM and constantly blocked service to my strikers. His ball winning alone probably cost me 5-10 more shots.

Tulp is the jewel of this team. He was able to control the midfield. When you did find a striker who could turn their defender, it was devastating. Won your initial pen that way.

I'm still disappointed my quality, in-form strikers couldn't find the net more from their very good chances.

Wasteful shooting aside, it was nice to have a fair game. It deserved extra time.

Two div II.04 teams through to last 8. Who'd have thought. :D

Yep that was me last week agbell. Of the 8 sides I could have drawn, I didn't want 1 and well I drew that 1. I know the feeling.

Well done Viv on a great win. Can't argue that one. I set a tactic to try and attack slightly wider in avoidance of Tulp and it failed spectacularly. Your squad and tactic is humming along nicely.

Happy with a goal for each of the strikers. I was quite worried about where the goals would come from. Tulp is still a beast in midfield.

I don't know which teams will make the final next week, but it's basically numbers 2, 3 and 4 in Australia, along with Stamford who is proving he belongs in the A-League
