Where was the crowd Cometer?

I dunno 16k out of a max 20k wasn’t too bad considering I’d been beaten by ukes/stamford and Achmid in the lead up. That and my ticket prices were high ish as well to try and get more money overall.

I thought given the weather was dry and your prices were fair that it’d be closer to a sellout… but either way.

When it rains it pours! And the epic season of injuries continues. My makeshift lineup almost got it done but not good enough, and another player out for a few weeks.

I feel you mate. Had 2 of my 4 defenders out, my reserve (who is a DM with emphasis on the mid) also out, played a mid with some def in the back line, and the bench reserve was last seasons U21 striker lol

Now for the final just lost my number 1 mid, up against a full strength lineup

Just lost my number 2 mid as well. Haha I'm going to be going in to the final with my junior team

Oh no, it's worse than I expected.
Will be missing my top 4 Mids, best defender and second best striker for the final

And just to make things better, got another 2 injuries during the final itself, first one in the 4th minute and the second in the 33rd.

Really never stood a chance with almost a complete 2nds team. Will just chalk it up to another Aus Cup "how to screw Achmid's Soul" up. At least this time, Ukes actually outshot me (and deserved the win based on the teams that could actually be fielded)

What's up with all the injuries.... happening too much across many teams. Add to that the slower training when factoring in more condensed seasons.... talk about kick the smaller nations! :(

Looks like an epic final with goals, then goals in ET and then pens. Congrats to Rom for winning four successive Oz Cups. Quite the achievement.

Bad luck Achmid. Can’t recall another season when multiple teams were being so brutalised with injuries.

Well statistically sides are playing their players across 3 games a week instead of 2. Forgoing anything else that’s a 50% increase. They reduced injury chance but it wasn’t by 50%. Therefore more injuries will be seen statistically. Then more league games each week will result in more overlapping injuries.

Training is back to what it was except for 3 less weeks. They’ve bumped general and formation training too. It’s not a big deal anymore.

Congrats to Romaldino on the Aus cup win regardless. It may have been a walk through in the final two rounds, but you don't select who you play and the challenges they have been dealt. Unlike a couple of previous editions where I was thoroughly robbed by the ME, this match was won by the better side on the field

To no one’s surprise the four teams left standing are the big guys, should be two really good clashes…

Never stood a chance. Reserve keeper, playing with a slightly injured defender on the park due to injuries, red card in the game, was never going to happen.
