Achmid [del] para Todos
Well things have got slightly more interesting in terms of the race, with 4 teams over the leagues on 33pts and 1 team on 36pts. If Krayzee happen to lose a match, that would leave 5 teams vying for autopromotion all on the same points (although frogs are well behind on GD).

No matter who auto promotes, and who wins the other qualifiers, it will certainly be another strong A-League season.

Still a lot of water to go under the bridge in II.01. Pretty amazing to see 3 teams with well over a hundred goals in a season playing in the one II division.

Yeah, two big weeks for me coming up, playing Chelsea then Steel.... better pump up the players!

Chelsea in big trouble this weekend! A stellar season starting to unravel! Injuries & suspensions to deal with whilst the triggers have an average form rating of 14+ :O

The lads are pumped for the big game, and then our eyes turn to the week after, Uber ;-)

Praying for more reds and injuries!! ;)

I can't think of anything worse than Uber winning the league. Seriously if someone as handicapped as him can win the league I'll quit. I sometimes wonder whether it's him or one of his carers that is the brains behind Steel Fury.

There will be no tanking in the next two weeks from Triggers Lads....unless i lose, then i was tanking.

Minkee's going down and probably replaced by Krayzee. 2nd promotion spot is still well up for grabs and the opponent will be decided by the DAU vs Larikin game next week. Tigermaster all but assured of playing Tong.

So the final round has been played. The qualifiers should be if I've calculated correctly

Larikan v Steel Fury
DAU v MM
Tong v Frogs

SF gets the better of the qualifiers and MM have a realistic chance against a diminishing DAU side. Frogs may have to wait another season before reaching the big time again.

Think I'll watch the Larikan v SF qualifier myself, could be a high scoring game.

My gamble of resting those on 2 yellows worked out ok. 2 of those won't play at all this week as too old for training to be a factor....may play Davis in 1st half of friendly as young enough for training & have more cover in def.
I get to renew rivalry with DAU hey....had some cracking games way back when we were coming through the ranks.

I guess my game plan is pretty obvious... how do I stop supply to Oowie's strikers....
2011-10-04 15:54:09
you mean how do you score more goals than they do ;)
2011-10-05 09:47:49
how about doing both at the same time :). That's all I did.

Half an hour to qualifiers!! My predictions in bold.

Larikan v Steel Fury - Can tactics beat 3 unbelievable strikers? ;)
DAU v MM - DAU are old and fading, but still should have enough to see off MM
Tong v Frogs - Frogs are a shadow of former glories at the moment.

Just be thankful Ronzon is out, and you only have to put up with Huxley as my 3rd striker
