Asunto: Career goal records for players in Australia??

Greetings all just wondering if anyone knows the record for the most career goals scored in the Australian leagues. I have a player Jimmy Ward who has scored 497 in 210 games he has played for me. Poised on the verge of scoring 500 I am Interested in seeing how he compares with other players in Australia and the World if anyone knows.

A long while ago I used to track these sorts of things, but I gave it up.

500 goals all in Australia would be right up there though.

Trigger Lads have a striker that has scored 80 goals already this season :)

If you search for "best of" in the Sokker International forum there is a thread on there with the international records.

There used to be a thread in Australia with team records, but I can't find it anymore.

Kowal has been a bloody good pick up for me...got 17 in one game 2 weeks ago! Lets hope he adds a few in the next two games!

Bowen has 572 goals for me and I've had him since he came out of my youth school some 10-11 seasons ago.I've obviously been in div II a little in that time which inflates the goals. Wouldn't surprise me if someone who has been around as long as that sitting in lower leagues has scored more.


Edit: Yeah it didn't take long to find a striker with bags more. Tongs striker Kamionek has well over 700. How many of them came before Tong bought him is anyones guess though but the majority have been in the lower leagues here.

I'd probably say Bowen is the striker that has scored the most goals playing in Australia which is a much bigger effort than buying in someone who has scored many goals

Many thanks for the information all of you. Happy to say Jimmy Ward got his 500th goals this week. Very damn happy with that.

Jimmy Ward has 503 goals from 212 games. He was the first purchase for my team, an 18 year old 2 game, goal less junior from an english club. So for me he has played 210 games and scored 503 goals.

Keep it coming guys, some very interesting stats there. Jimmy Wards goals have been scored in div IV, III and Div II. No chance of him scoring any in a higher grade as my team is incapable of getting any higher than Div II. I win Div III, get promoted get thrashed for a season in Div II. Get demoted, win divIII easily and then promoted. Been bouncing between div III and Div II since 2007.
