Asunto: S27 - Race to the A-League

Frogs can do it... they did in the Cup this season.
Ok I was missing a few players but still, they can produce a win on the day with the current erratic ME.
I'm not ruling them out.

wow. My club's most clinical performance EVER. My team's strengths and weakness' line up pretty well against lower division clubs and my tactic worked out perfectly. Tupp's only win was that they didn't increase their seat prices and thus deprived me of $'s (and themselves).

Gotta wonder how a 36th ranked team makes the A-league playoff finals.... there are a couple of III teams ahead of them in the rankings! :o Seems a shame that the massive win won't win me as much ranking points as it should.

I really thing I have to start thinking about running an A-League challenge. The ME seems stable and I feel comfortable with it....

woops. assumed quali would be at II team's ground...

trigger lads get huge rating numbers, but don't seem to bother the better teams...

yeah i am pretty shit at tactics...never mind well played ag, might have made it interesting had i got the 5 min penalty...

As expected all A League sides won and all had the game sewn up by halftime. Whilst a few games got interesting in the 2nd half, excluding disaster the game was decided by then.

Confidence is one thing but if you can be more consistent and don't drop easy points like you do sometimes or lose a cup final when almost all the stars were aligned, you should be in good shape to bother Cometer and Viv.

I'm waiting to see if Fantum confirms his excellent season. If he does I think the top4 is sewn up this season...

It helps having no pending red cards of injuries :)
Out of 14 league games this season, I honestly think I could only field the fisrt XI 2 or 3 times... Depth of bench is lacking at the club.
