well,
1) It is not the first time I am running for a job of NT coach and as you might have seen, I am putting the same effort in the first match of the season as well as the same effort in the very last one. Furthermore if my interest in the NT would be falling down, I wouldn't run for the job of a NT coach again. One tactic can never be that superior. The outcome of the tactic is based also on the way opponent threats it (which you can quite often deduct as each coach has some tactical style), and of course you can not make one tactic for every combination of players you want to play. So you needn't be scared I would end up stuck with just a one tactic.
2) Attracting interest of the user in the NT is somewhat difficult. I've found it out during my own career. Yes, there will always be users who will spontaneously discuss the matters around the NT but unfortunately the majority will still find it like a one man team and they wouldn't even take enough effort to see that it is not like that (and you as a NT coach don't have much of chance to persuade them about the opposite when they even don't read your topics). But enough of being negative. I've observed some means that may keep attracted at least those users that do have at least some interest for the NT from the beginning:
A) First of all, long text previews might get boring. So don't expect me to write a lot of text at least in the first part of the preview.
B) I will include a tactic and leave it to the thorough discussion. In my opinion it's good when those interested in tactic may ask me why I have done something in such a way - It's good both for me as I might have mistaken as well as for you as you might get the information you are particulary interested in :)
C) I've found out that informal previews get more attention than those aimed just towards the match. You might expect some funnier and more informal information about the country we are about to play (such as real world football info, some unexpected weird things about the countries, etc ;))ch coach has some tactical style), and of course you can not make one tactic for every combination of players you want to play.
3) I would just briefly stuck around the update db thing. I think I might do it in a way better way as others mostly relies on other users who update the players in the NTDB or they asks for the skills of the players already known. I may (and I want to do so) scan every Sokker player so that no interesting player will be left forgotten. (such a way led to finding few stars in Czech Republic who were without NT cap and they were almost retiring ;)) But talking about things outside these basic fundamentals is kinda difficult. As I have already sketched, I want to keep the forum discussion active and I've already sketched the means I want to use. I will become a part of your community so I will be open to every user and will try to help him if it will be possible.
4) Yes, community is even more important that the coach itself (and of course not just by voting for the coach ;)). In Czech Republic we are using well tested system for helping the newbies (Here is a question for you - do you have such a system here? If you do, we might at least talk about possible improvement or maybe improving the Czech one ;)). The next important thing is tracking of the trainings. And in case that some player might be trained better and his owner can not ensure such a training, I would discuss a possible transfer - of course with a reasonable transfer fee ;). One of the last things I have already mentioned - active conversation on the forum. And not just in the matters of NT :). As I wrote, my desire is cooperate with you. It's one of the reasons that I brought me here. I like cooperating, talking with users about what is best.

I understand you. I'm still trying to show you that I am determined to work with you. I'm trying to write everything as soon as possible, all come up first and show my ideas. Ideas of my head. As was my candidacy or a short text about the group :)) .. all my work ;)

Thanks for your answers. They were meant to be difficult. You're not the first to have these thrown and hopefully you're not the last. The primary reason why is because I get a better understanding of where you stand, what your aims are, and whether you're truly here for the NT or just for the trophy hunt. Whilst questions often vary there are very similar themes.
The difficulty factor almost always helps me decide who the best candidate is.
Simply stating you'll qualify for this, update that doesn't separate you from anyone else and that's why most of the time I try and come up with questions that requires a bit of thinking.
Consider it as a positive that if I ask a question I'm potentially interested in giving you my vote. If you get nothing, it usually is a good sign that you're not in the mix.
In regards to the questions, I'll keep most of the answers for later to avoid others having an unfair advantage since you have replied first but:
1) Is it always the case that you can play any tactic? What about with a small sample size of players? For a reasonable sized NT yeah it's quite possible, yet I know first hand from the bunch I had with the U21's last season tactical variety that was effective was very very small. Our senior NT side though shouldn't have that problem yet.
3) I like that option if you have the time to do so, I know we've (referring to a number of Australian users here) done things in the past similar, haven't for a while though and hence why it's probably not as up to date as it might well otherwise have been.
4) We did try to initiate one. Problem with Australian users (might be a global issue) is people just don't respond to skmails and very rarely log in so any effort we're prepared to throw just ends up dying. At the same time I have a stance that you can't go making a step by step how to win the game as that defeats the purpose of learning the game. Again though, a different perspective might open up a method which works so I never say never to an idea. Trying an idea is better than never trying anything.
Thanks again for your answers. I'll go away now and consider them against others :).

Well, I think that even if you have just a few players to choose from, I still think that there is a lot of space for multiple tactical variations. Firstly, I think that even when you have the same players to play in all the matches, there is still some changes at least in form you should definitively reflect in the tactics. You could emphasise some players to be involved more in the play, if they are in a good shape. Whereas when they are low on form, you will definitely want them to do less things but do them really well. Next, you may try to "guess" what your opponent is going to play and adjust the tactic to make the matter more complicated for the opponent. It is not always just "guessing", as I've already mentioned every coach has its style that is the a common part of every tactic he uses. Of course when the possibilities are really limited by the players available, I wouldn't definitely use any tactic. I would just use those tactics, that fit our players well. But still there is a lot of space for some finetuning and changes .

I would like to thank you all very much. Thank you for your trust.
I wish good luck to other candidates.

Good luck Wo :)
if you need any advice about the players, feel free to ask about anything on the mail :)

Thank you very much that I could be your coach. I liked it here and whenever I like to come back here. In season, I failed a few games and I'm so sorry. It is clear to me that to get your votes would be very difficult. The last game you did not write a word and that I understand it. Still, thank you and I hope that those who come after me will do a better job.
Thanks again and see you sometimes.
btw. Still waiting for me two matches. Turkey and Spain :)

Hey Wo-10, having been a U21 NT coach myself, I know it's impossible to go a full season without making some mistakes. Overall, I think you've done a very good job and if you wanted to continue, you'd have my vote. But if you decide to move on, I will understand.
Thanks for all your efforts this season. Been good having you in charge of the team.
