Defenders have been selling for a couple million more than previous seasons all season but that sale is suss. Saw a double SD with incredible plus secondaries 27 yrs go for 9. Never seen a defender sell for more than 10

HA! Watched a 25yr double divine DEF with form tech and solid PM and passing go for 9M this morning! His brother with triple solid secondaries went for 8M! They only had a wage of 30k so low def and pace. The DEF market is completely broken. I'm thinking everyone stopped training them when the prices tanked a few seasons back and there is a big shortage now. Plus everyone is switching back to 5man backline and wingers I think. I haven't been able to buy a decent DEF all season.

Ditto. Once this guy got to 8 mill I was out....& very true....cannot find a quality defender at the mo'.....has me toying with going back to DEF training.....was the only time I seemed to pull half decent youths too.

If I wasn't chasing the A-League title, I'd be training defs. Unfortunately, with 4 SD defenders it's not possible. But def training is really rewarding. Players develop quickly, you can play back-5 or back-4, and def is a valuable skill all over the pitch.

Def training for 4+ seasons is what got my team to the A-League in the first place. I was training 7 1st teamers and 3 trainees. Was a great cycle!

Pretty boring though with all of them ending up double divine. At least midfielders have personality in this game with five skills of interest. I would love to see extra relevant skills for ATT and DEF in this game so trainers have to make decisions rather than train until divine.
