Asunto: [NT] Clau_Goool

Hi everyone,

I am Clau_Goool(Rares in real life). I live in the beautiful city of Cluj, the capital of Transylvania, a big region of Romania.

I will like to candidate to the position of manager of the Australian NT.
I`m playing this game since 2005 and in this time I spent a lot of time near the Romanian NT, being as well tactical advisor and scouter.

In my NT career I have been the manager of:

- 1 season NT manager of UAE
- 2 seasons manager of Nigeria U21
- 6 seasons manager of Cymru NT known as Wales
- 6 seasons of scouting for both Romanian NT and U21 and I am still doing this job

My objectives are:

- trying new tactics in the new season, giving playing opportunities for the young players which have less experience with the NT
- trying to improve the NT ranking
- ensuring a weekly up to date database of our NT players
- trying to buy and train players for the Australian NT as I did for Nigeria and Cymru'
- strong communication with the Australian sokker community

I don`t know if your actual manager #uberfurious# will continue his job with the NT, but if he will do so, I will try my luck two seasons from now, because he did a wonderful job til now and he has all my respect.

Please, tell us about your time with the Welsh NT. :)

Hi vivski,

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to candidate to the Australia NT position.

I have been managing the Welsh national team for almost two years now, it was a great experience to achieve some good results with a country that has a small community(less than 5-6 active users and aproximately 8 who are trainig players for the NT).

Nevertheless I enjoyed my time there and had some great results:

- In my first race for the World Cup I`ve defeated the WC champion at that moment, Hungary, with 3-4 in a very dramatic game.
I finished 3rd in my group behind Hungary and Argentina.

- In my second quest for the WC I`ve defetaed top 20 teams like Chile with 2-1 and top 15 team at that moment, Argentina, with 2-1 as well. I finished 3rd in the group, this time I was closer to qualify to the WC finishing 1 point behind Argentina and 2 points behind Chile.

- the 3rd chase to the WC finished for Wales with a 4th place, defeating stronger opponents like Moldova with 2-1 and playing good against Lietuva, lost 3-4 and against Norway, lost 2-1.

Having a medium team as a force in sokker I always try to place my tactics after I make a good analysis on my opponent.

Do you think you can do something about this...
- Australia 1718.11 (49. place)
- Australia U21 2221.59 (27. place)

We used to be a lot higher, but we also used to have a few more active managers.
What do you think is a realistic target for our NT ranking this season?

I promise that I will do my best to improve the national team ranking.

This can be done simply by beating better opponents than us. As well I want to focus this season(if I am to be elected) in giving playing opportunities to the generation of players who are coming from behind(I mean here the U26 - I will try to do a general scouting job on this issue as there are only a few young talented players coming from behind and the vast majority are over 27 yo and very old), practically the future Aussie sokker generation.

This season I will try to mix the NT friendlies, half of them against strong opponents and the other half against equal valued ones. I want to improve the NT ranking, but as well I want to form the generation from tomorrow.

We are on the 49th position with 1718.11 points. Venezuela is on the 40th place with 2071.15 points. This is not a big difference in points. So, with a good winning streak we can jump until the 40th position or go beyond this place. But as you know this involves a lot of work, good tactics and a superb random from the engine:)

So, we shall see;)
