Asunto: [U21] l-zsolt

Hi everybody!
-I'm the actual U21 manager of Magyarország(Hungary) and in the past NT manager of Nippon.
Now after a WC experience i wanna change to another country with potential to be present on next WC and i consider your country as one who could achieve this deal.
-I appreciate the work of your past U21 manager and i wanna continue with WC qualifying here.
-I play this game with day by day activity sence 2007.
-I taked Magyarország U21 two seasons ago and i qualified between first teams for last WC(with 3 weeks before ending that WCQ campaign), but unfortunatelly i has less luck on WC, on our first match i losed one man(red card) and that game 10 vs 11 so even we makes draw with World Champion, PolskaU21 and the SuomiU21, we are'nt get through from group.
But in 2 seasons on 13 matches we has 2 official matches losed(1/season):one with the Nederlands on a match when the huns attacked and the dutch players scores:D and that match on WC against Schweiz.
I used more than 80 players, not just 20-30 like others to help them on trainings for NT-s(U21 and after big NT aswel)i changed tactics, i played majority of our friendlies with U20 to give more training for youngs to assure a continuity of good results.
I makes some good results with better ranked last WC teams, like HrvatskaU21(win),PortugalU21(win),BulgariaU21(win),EspanaU21(draw),NederlandU21(a win on WCQ and a draw U20), also victory with another WC team, England U21.
And of course, at World Cup: draws with SuomiU21 and the world champion, PolskaU21.
In Hungary i has no NTDB, just a manually created MS office type database, so i makes all updates manually, but i actualised that weekly.
-I am a very close to community man, i communicate dayly on 4 forums and with our U21 player holders in 3 language:english, hungarian and romanian.
-I have a young club team( i like to work with youngs) with 4 U21 players, i raise them, i do not sell it as youngs.
Coming here i make this promisions to australian community for first season:

-I get the WC qialifying with team of Australia U21
-I try to achieve higher ranking position
-I create new tactics based on our players skills
-I will play our last games with U20 for continuity
-I makes some challenges for australian community here and every winner could give a young U21 australian player to play for us on some friendlies(as it is in Hungary), to get the young team closer to community.
-I will communicate activelly with community and the U21 NT player owners and of course with first NT manager, Clau Goool, who i know well, he is a really good choice for your first NT.

Hi l-zsolt, glad to have you an Matteo keen to take on the job.

Pavo has done an incredible job with the U21 NT over several seasons. Big shoes to fill. ;)

How do you think you will go with a smaller base of players to choose from and sub-par skill levels?
We have some talented juniors, but Pavo will tell you the depth is very limited.

You won't find a lot of engagement or comment on here, but the senior members of the Aus community do care about the NT. Some of us have put time into managing the U21 NT and we want to see it do well.

What do you think of our WCQ group?

Hi, vivski and thanks a lot for questions.
So, i know your last U21 manager, i heared about him, is a really good success to him and this not too high country a participation at last WC, with a lot of good results, even in friendlys,(Asian Cup).
The players.I know one thing after managing a greater sk country's youngs:the quantity is'nt mean quality.I has a lot of wrong trained hungarian players(ex.strikers with max 10 tech or striker-the another principal skills was good, but..., or keepers with 10 pace).
Look at Suomi or Eesti, they don't have so many users, but they train the youngs for playing better not for look better for sale.
More hungarian managers maximized the first skill(ex.Keeper) and forget the others.
And they wanted to win against the World Champions at WC :D
I hope, thinking about australians, if the players have trained equilibred, they could be better, than others with 1-2 high skills and one very worst, even they are just 3x11 skills, for example.
The game is going to multiskilled squads.One superdivine skill is look fine at TL, but is'nt helping a national team.
About talented players, i had my first season probably the worst talents in last few seasons and i still obtained a WC qualifying.
Yes, i know my responsability, i know to get serious a work for community.
Be sure, i don't will make substitution faults and i will put my team everytime on the field even they will be olders(not like Chile against my huns this friday):D
And i will make my orders and team transparent(visible) for every australian user on the special forum.
We can discuss about the tactics and team every time in your national association forum.
But the team i will make myself.

Now the group:



So i think Turkey is the great favourite, they have the better valued squad here, but stil they're not Romania, Italy or Polska.We will play against them without our hands up for sure:D
Ukraine is a team just like Australia, will be a litle difficult against them too, for sure but i trust on my intuitions and lucky improvisations.
And finally the other 3 teams(even if i know Malta making great steps forward, i looks at them, because i has a player on they squad and because at last WCQ they played against RomaniaU21 to) i think we could beat twice all of them.
So, will be 2 great opponents, but even the second place goes to the WC.
I think, is a group accessible for us and any candidate will win this elections here, he will have to qualify the australian youngs.

While there aren't many managers here, we do try to train players for the NT as a priority.
We will try to train players for performance, not sale.

The problem is that the pool of juniors is very small. My youth school hasn't produced any gun trainees for a while. That's where we suffer.

Good luck though. Pavo managed to get results, so it can be done!

U21 is depending on generations of talented juniors , the training methodes and the U21 manager work level.
We gonna try to get any relative good young players and train them together most efficiently.
That's the only way: the cooperative job, between clubmanagers and U21 NT manager.
Otherway we could lose all good results, what Pavo realised till now.

Thanks to all who voted me, i wanna make here a good season, to continue somehow the line of great successes of Pavo, to make anything to be present again at next WC, i think, with Turkey.And we will try, with some friendlies with good teams to get more rankings or to keep the litle socceroos on actual standing.
I promised some competitions, i will present to you tomorrow.
Now i work to make our next season's calendar.
