Asunto: Sponsorship

After relegating from A_League back to II my sponsorship has dropped to levels that I have not been as low as since 4 years ago. I am running clear first in the league and barely getting 200K in sponsorship. Even the season prior to going up to A-League I averaged $304K. In A-League running last I averaged $390K. It goes to show why it is virtually impossible for those not entrenched in A-League to be able to compete. There is no way to be able to build a competitive team for A-League without the finances. Teams that drop are lucky to survive financially when they go down without selling players, firing coaches etc all of which weakens the team.

Aussie striker - your stadium is terrible. Upgrade all your stands to seats with roof. Your finances will improve dramatically. Sponsorship won't matter.

Is normal to get less sponsorship when you leave a higher league, but you could it recover, when you go to win your matches.The sponsors wait that a team relegated from a higher league will try to win their downer league group.So, if you gonna make victorys in row, they will give you same(or even more) sponsorship like you had in high division.

If you play this game without a stadium that is 100% seats + roof.... you don't understand the game.

I never cares about supporters, and they aswell never cares about club :D
I losed so much supporters to make constructions and other favors for them.

uber You need a lot of money to be able to build all seats and roof that which goes to my point exactly.
Only those in A-League for extended seasons can make enough money to do that.

I received 205K from sponsors this week, 202K last week. I have not lost a game and sit comfortably on top of the ladder.
The home game this week with reasonable weather (moderate clouds cool ) netted me $158K with a crowd of 9409 against the team running 6th in the league.
So for the fortnight (away game/home game) my net financial position is negative $480K!

I cannot afford to buy better players, I cannot afford to improve stadium, not that it needs it, the return will not be worthwhile for many seasons to come.

With League II being fairly weak, that probably adds to the problem. The good teams there constantly lose money because crowds are low and sponsorship not great as well. I've got 42 goals for and zero against in 5 games and getting pitiful 205K sponsorship.

might it have something to do with ranking? i'm at 4.3k while you're at about 3.7k, not to mention my wage bill is probably tiny compared to many a-league teams (550k)

EDIT: it also probably does help that i've made 100m+ from my youth school over the years too

Could be. $207K for last sponsorship with wage bill of $440K.
For all transfers I have made, 151 sales and 15 purchases, I have a total profit of $313K in my time playing (9 years).

For you $135M in transfer income from 224 sales
For me $13M in transfer income from 151 sales

Definitely the extra $122M would make a difference

Yeah I can make no sense from that.

Sponsorship makes no sense. Since my previous postings I have won every game comfortably and sponsorship has actually gone down. I'm now at a net loss for the season of 1.8M
