Previously I religiously kept an eye out for new users and sent them a message offering tips, but I probably stopped doing that about 6mths ago. if we can just get new users posting in the forum the chances of retention must be much higher.

I sent one_tj and agawaflower a message a while ago, but both are unread

I too reached out once or twice to newbies who had joined just after me, but alas.

Yeah best bet is definitely trying to get ex players back to train players. And who knows, may even get a few active ones too.

It is always nice knowing that you can't quite walk in to A-League, but that it won't be too hard to get to the pinnacle of Australian leagues either

Might be time to upgrade my 500 terrace to 10,000, in time for week 1 of new season. Will take arena to 36.5k. :)

Yes, that's the conundrum.
I recall in my past SK life that if you had a different area it tended to fill where it was the only section of that type.
Soooo...was wondering if I keep terrace, whether it's likely to fill more so than benches/seats, at half decent price.

Keep in mind the rules say that if the spectator's preferred section isn't available that they will move to a more expensive section.

That's why I'm thinking of keeping one section as terrace...then if full, they have bench or seats either side.

If I commence a 15 day build on Saturday, does that mean ready 2 weeks later before Sunday's first round? Or, does it mean Monday before complete?

I'm being cheap Charlie...but though it would be slight saving if start the build after Saturday's $$$ udpate, but may need to go with Friday (today) to be sure it's ready for round 1.

I believe if they were benches though, a certain % of those who would have bought the terraces (which are now benches) will buy the benches.

You will have a slightly lower attendance by having benches over seats (assuming you had unlimited seating) but you can charge more for the benches.

There was a discussion a long time ago about whether a certain number should remain of a lower level, but I think most of the big clubs, including myself, decided that was not the case, or was not worth stressing over, and went for the highest seating possible under cover.
