I bid for a few players overnight. As usual, all but one were outbid by a single bid.

You at least have the time diff' as an excuse. I've missed a few by minutes due to being side-tracked or forgetting until moments after deadline. ;(

This is what happens to me as well. Shows how important it is to have players selling in your own timezone

Yeah, have similar issues myself but I have the added problem that I’m constrained a lot by finances so that’s like a double whammy. All the time new teams in large countries can outbid me at will *eye roll*

I'm new so sorry if this has been done to death, but why on earth does Australia have its own league setup when it has so few teams - it seems crazy.

Smaller countries would be better combined into a single league framework. Has such a change ever been mentioned?

Yes, it's crazy. And yes, it's been brought up many times over the history of this game. The prevailing view seems to be that the game developers (Polish I believe) are focussed on the larger populated countries as their priority and just don't really care about the little guys.
On the bright side however, the Australian community, whilst small, is actually growing slowly and has become a lot more active over the last year or two. A core bunch of us are actively trying to make the national teams stronger, and the quality of teams in the A-League is becoming much better. So stick around. Ask any questions and you'll get a lot of help here.

Yeah as agbell has said it’s been something a few of us have been pushing for. We’ve even suggested how they could do it by keeping our national cup competition and our own national youth players. Hasn’t happened yet. Some valid reasons like potential language issues but a lot of invalid ones like they want to do promotions/advertising first etc.

So basically we have devs that are probably “part time” devs and that’s probably being kind.

That being said, there is a good game here if you stick around and be patient. You won’t see success immediately and in fact it probably takes a long time given how long some of our top clubs have been around for. That being said certain things do speed the process up like understanding how to create useful tactics and develop players through a good training plan.

It was something that they had got as close as writing it in the rules (retiring) but never coded.

Might have a stab at him.....looking for new youth coach. See if he outlasts Moses! :D

I suspect it’s on their list for reform. Feel like I’ve heard it being mentioned, however, I don’t feel like that’s happening anytime soon
