All other teams have logged in during the last week, most multiple times. So although they aren't active in the forum, they are activeish in the game

I think the whole game is lost tbh. When we got to the stage of needing a 4th league, its because there was a lot of work being put in by half a dozen people in different forums and games.
I think with the addition of mobile gaming these days, and instant satisfaction, it really hurts games like this.

Hell the time I took away was because I didn't have time for planning the next generation of my team etc. but mobile games were good because they were more flexible at the time.

I've even tried convincing cometer to come back, but he says he doesn't have time and it's mainly due to a mobile game as well.

I don't think there is much hope, best bet is probably trying to get back old players who then play for the nostalgia of it all. The newer generation is lost to games like this (especially when there are faster pace versions of manager games on console).

Also if we were to draw any of the old guys back, it is not easy starting from scratch again.

There isn't much money in the lower leagues due to lack of players, so gate takings are minimal, so you end up doing a lot of just saving money. Buying cheap pace trainees on the market and hoping they get some random pops with your rubbish coaches, and I think this is only going to get harder too.


Knowing you will really never (well not for 9-12seasons which is 3-4years), be able to compete with the top team is hard too.

Anyway unless tribe decides to do a big buy up, or even a little one, you should see me back in the A-league next season, if only for the one season, which will be a nice change from being in Div II.

Gone are the days where div II was competitive, and even the odd div III league had 2 people (think once there were 3 teams) vying for the top spot

Well hurry up and get back to the top league! Ukmerges and Cisco have been building good squads so hopefully they continue to push forward and create more competition. Even three or four active managers can keep the A-League interesting enough.

I've been trying but cape jaffa was in my way, so I let him win by enough he got a free ride and I could face my old nemesis naphtali instead.

Not that being held back by the team who will get 8th this season is very promising for when I do promote

Surely once you promote you have enough tactical smarts to avoid relegation. Finishing 5th to 7th for a few seasons with better income will boost your progression.

How on earth do I still have a team?

Over half my junior team needed to be given a contract, not sure I have previously logged in this year....

Anyway $218Mill, looks like I no longer make much money per fortnight...

It's a mystery to me how the team deactivation works! Would be great if you can keep your team ticking... if nothing else, just to put more Aussie juniors into the pipeline.
