Asunto: Anyone still here?

Ugh. The slowly shrinking pool of active managers.

I just signed up to managerzone and although I have literally been there 2 days, it seems like there are more Aussie users there. The game is similar enough to sokker, that we may be able to bring a few across.

Unfortunately, from very early impressions, it seems like a slightly more advanced game (and slightly more time needed).

Who knows, even just a couple of active users with an active youth school would help out.

Is it web or app based?

If you’re looking for others, i’m playing...
Hattrick (old, but low time effort)
Battrick (If you like cricket)
MyRacingCareer (addictive racing game)

Wasn't really looking, just saw a colleague at uni playing it. It is promising that there is a bit of an Aus community there though (although I haven't worked out how you interact with just the Aus crew as opposed to everyone).

I used to have a battrick team, but found "From the Pavilion" a better game. Like sokker, I had a decent team, but it went bot when I stopped playing. Also a few of the sokker guys are there too. I signed up again and have a low team, but good thing there is, if you sign up and ignore the team for a while (but not so long you go bot), you end up making quite a nice little kitty.

Never tried Hattrick.

Used to play batracer for a bit, but way too much time commitment was needed, haven't tried MyRacingCareer.

Fantum just got his team application rejected :(
2018-06-20 00:19:19
WTF!?!
2018-06-20 02:15:24
Yup, no reason was given, just a straight rejection, and now he is fuming because he was trying to give it another go at a time when sokker is basically dying.

Hi achmid,

Did he register with Aussie IP? I understood from sviktorov that he tried with another overseas IP. In this case he has to send a sk mail to admins@sokker.org and explain why he wants to register in Australia with a different country`s IP.
2018-06-20 12:48:10
I believe he registered with an overseas IP (as that is where he is at present).

Unfortunately I don't believe he was told this when rejected, rather he was just flat out rejected which is part of the problem.

I will relay this to him in case he didn't send a message through.

I appreciate you coming to communicate about this.
2018-06-20 13:01:39
You are right, a small note should have been appreciated, even though when you are rejected you receive a standard rejection message, but it is not the same thing.

Please do communicate this to him and I will validate his account.
I checked the admins mail and there isn`t anything written from him atm.

Hi achmid,

Any news from fantum?
2018-06-23 08:27:07
I believe he has sent an email. Apparently he also sent one when the team got rejected (a reply to an email notification he got that was sent to his personal email).

So hopefully you have an email sitting there or in the junk folder

Ok, thanks. I shall check it ;)

@fantum: Welcome back! I have accepted your new team.
