Although we are within just a few ranking points of 2 other nations so certainly doable
I too am getting my stadium upgraded. Have decided long term to aim for a 60k stadium, with the minimum number of upgrades (no more than 2 or 3 for each section, and if I do a 3rd, its to add a roof).
But also trying to keep in mind that I need my stadium ready for home games, and a balance between roofs to protect from wet weather (only really important against some of big teams, so A-League matches), and number of spaces in the stadium.

I'm the same with minimal upgrades each section. Figure straight in with 5k each corner, so it just means sides & ends a couple of times (20k or thereabouts).
Hoping for a good cup run again...last 8 with a big team at home helps. :)

Not sure what he will sell for as he is currently on the transfer market (and I went back through the youth section, and he wasn't in my youth school long enough to get an idea on talent).

Since selling at some time as a 16yo (was about 26weeks of training ago) he has by the looks of it, random popped in def/play/pass - so no doubt all these will be a while from popping.
And normal popped 4 times in pace, and 3 pops in tech (although I'd say he probably random popped in tech and then had 2 pops from training.
So could say he popped between 5-7 times in 26 weeks, making a talent of between 3.75-5.2 at a young age and low levels. Reading between the lines then, I'd say his true talent would be closer to the 5 mark (ie the talent in the old youth school system which is equivalent to a pop from very good to excellent as a 19-20yo in a skill other than pace or stamina).
So not bad, may be ok to be trained, but don't expect any random pops to increase his value.

If you want my advice, I'd suggest focusing on the main stands on the sides. I feel like I over-developed my corners and ends and it's costing me income. This bit in the rules is why I have the regret...
Not every supporter likes the same type of stand. Some fans prefer seats, others benches, some others prefer terraces and others prefer to stand on the grass. If their favorite place is sold out they are likely to buy ticket for a superior stand but they will refuse to go to an inferior stand. Depending on the weather some supporter will buy a ticket only if a roof is available in his preferred stand.
Based on this, if I had my time again, I'd have smaller ends and corners, thus forcing my supporters into the main stands where you can charge more, thereby increasing the overall matchday revenue.

I think I went with the recommended model first time around, but trying something different this time....probably because I left last time due to boredom as much as anything.
Up until now, I've pretty much sold out my stadium, so it'll be interesting to see how that goes with current corner upgrades.

One thing that was never truly discovered is what the perfect stands are or where placed.
I'm pretty sure there was a rule change at some time as I'm pretty sure I remember the sides were considered better than the ends and corners.
Also there was discussion that an all seater stadium was not best as not all supporters who wanted bench would buy seats.

Was checking out the league Steel Fury was in (seeing who was in line for the Auto-promotion spot), and saw a whole bunch of Steel Fury under the recent activity for the league.
For a moment there I got tricked, but then saw the date. Steel Fury has the most recent activity of every team in that league from transfers back in 2016

End of an era, Steel Fury has officially been replaced.
I was kind of hoping he would last til the end of season, auto promote, and lose all his ranking points to us before getting replaced, but so be it.
