Asunto: Free kick player

Just wondering what would be the best attributes for tacking free kicks? when setting up team orders.

I use a player that has got good skills in passing, playmaker and striker.

An important thing you might want to consider is that the player you select for free kicks will take them all over the park, so will be pulled out of position. So for example, if your free kick taker is your centre back, and the free kick is in the attacking third, he will be a long way out of position which leaves your defence vulnerable.

An alternative tactic, is to not chosoe a free kick taker, which will mean the closest player to the free kick will take it. This reduces the effectiveness of the free kick, but keeps your team in their tactical structure.
