Obviously, I don't want to give him away to someone who would waste him by stopping the development and not giving the advanced training. That's why I'm asking for your opinion and not deciding all by myself what to do next.

Wish everyone outside of Australia was like you :D. We’ve had many players just left to rot (mostly goal keepers) once they graduate from u21s. You’ve never done that for us ever and you have all of our respect for that. It is appreciated and always has been.
Knowing what you’ve done for us time and time again is what led me to my initial response. I thought that given you’ve trained so many of our players now that I’d be willing to let you make the call for yourself. However if you’re happy to be told what to do (which is usually not my style) then I’d say you’ve got a few options.
1) Check if there is an Australian user here who may want him and can afford him and can continue to train him (there may be a few who might be able to squeeze him in) and then negotiate price/time etc.
2) If you want try and search for someone who is willing to train the player in tech/pass/pm for a bit (or another level of defender - although it might be smarter to do the other 3 first and come back and finish off defender and pace later?
3) Continue to train him and I’d go with what I said in 2. Get his tech to like outstanding and pass/pm to formidable and reassess from there.
I’m fine and happy with any of those 3 options. We’re a little dry of fresh youth talent atm I feel though. Most we have are already being trained. So perhaps you could continue to train for a little bit whilst you wait for some new talent to emerge or until you can find another trainer to continue training him?

I think price really depends on who he ends I going to. Knowing Vampyr price isn’t really a factor but if we were going for market rates here he’d be at least $10m I’d think, probably closer to $12m. I’ll plug him into the scouting tool and see what others around his skill level are.
Yeah so gestons transfer db looks to be very much that 10-12m but they are all 24yo so Kirkpatrick being 23 may see that number a little higher but there’s your ball park estimate.
My guess before reading your comments would be $16M
If he does go on sale, I could look at buying. Timing can be quite difficult with my weird and wonderful work hours though (and trying to also coordinate Poland/Australia time zones).

16M would be almost the highest for this skill set in the past 5 seasons. Possible though.
True. Maybe I'm just cynical about the market. I'm certain if I sold him I'd get like $6M lol
I'm keeping him then and providing some tech training. As soon as he reaches outstanding tech, I'll take care of pass/pm.
And it's not like I'm fine being told what to do, cause it's totally opposite, but here you have the freedom of shaping your NT players as you like. Wouldn't be this way probably if I was still engaged in sk as I used to be, and cared about the money, training, tactics etc. As long as I'm active and following the path I've taken some time ago, you're in charge. The skills are always visible to you, if not - just ask, and whenever you have some training needs, feel free to let me know :)

I might be interested in Schwarzer. Was about to do a long stint of pace training anyway but can also extend def training a bit further if required.
Congrats on your sale. I pulled out once it was well above the average sale price for the player from the past 4 seasons. Way above what you should have gotten so I’m glad you got good value from the sale, considering the sale time.

Even accounting for secondaries and age, using the transfers db tool the max price in the past 5 seasons for a player in an almost identical position the highest was 5m aud. 7.2m aud is almost 50% more than the previous highest sale and that’s even in a time of reduction of income.
If I expanded scope on secondaries to go beyond what Schwarzer is then I bring in higher sales as they become midfielders with defense skills.
It’s actually a really good sale for Oscar here especially given it wasn’t listed at European time zones. The player who bought him probably would have gone another few million as well which is why I pushed it from 6m to 7m before pulling out to help the sale price. Thought about going to 8m but didn’t want to get stuck with that by pushing too far.
