That’s us for every other time which is when people choose to sell :(
Yup, we have no access to players. Makes the market completely unplayable
I can't really understand that
Obviously it's easier for European timezone, but still it can't be that impossible to follow the market
The fresh youth school players get sold between 9 sokker time and 24 sokker time, most of them between 11 sokker time and 22 sokker time
What hours are those locally for you?

Depends where in the country you are and whether both us and Europe and in daylight savings time.
So let’s figure that most transfers happen to end Sunday and then assume 11-22 so time (I dispute 11, my experience is more 18-22 personally sk time)
11 sk time atm is 7pm Sunday on the east coast, 5pm Sunday on the west coast.
22 sk time atm would be 6am Monday on the east coast and 4am Monday on the west coast
Put daylight savings in the mix (and Europe not on daylight savings) and it becomes
11 sk time is 9pm Sunday on east coast (excluding qld), 8pm for qld and 6pm for west coast.
22 so time is 8am Monday on east coast exc qld, 7am for qld and 5am on west coast.
If transfers happen at 11 we have a chance but that rarely happens, it’s usually around 18-22 the bulk of the better players are sold which does make things very difficult for us.

I'm usually working at weekends especially during 14-20 on Saturdays so I follow the market mostly at 9-14 and there are usually many youths availabe then
It's probably harder to get 21+ players since most are being sold after 16 sk time, but the fresh youths shouldn't be that bad and the "resell" players can always have an agreed hour although it's harder for bargains obviously
Even now, fresh youths that finish before 14 sk time:
16yo ATT, ss 14+: 3
16yo MID, ss 19+: 8
17yo ATT, ss 19+: 7
17yo MID, ss 25+: 8

In my experience in all the years I have played, the market is basically 1600-2200, with the majority of top level players being in the 19s and 20s
And that's experiencing it over many years. There's always exceptions but this is the main market.
I also think someone showed the graphs of players sold at one stage and it showed exactly this. It's also why when people complain they get poor money for their players, I suggest they try selling at a different time. Yes, less demand but much much less supply...but noone listens (and to be fair, I have found selling outside of 1600-2200 has resulted in much less predictable price, normally with decreased money but if they are really good players, they can go for well above as they get all us who won't stay up to 3-4am just to bid on a player)

The early interest in Tennant might see an exception to the rule (if current bids are anything to go by)….but agree with my fellow Oz managers in that the key deadline timeslot in the 20+ years I was based in London has always been around 1800-2100 SK time.
Yeah, I'm not saying otherwise, 16-22 is the biggest market, but you can often get good youths between 8 and 14, that's when I get mine often
As for poor/good money... I think it's a lottery at this point, there's not enough users for a stable transfer market. If you get 2 interested users with money at same time you get good $, if a third party suddenly joins the bidding you get very good $... if you're unlucky and there's just one interested guy - you get bad $
Couple weeks ago I was selling a 17yo ATT with 21 sumskill [7-7-7], he went for 5m zloty [1.25m euro]. There were 2 practically identical players being sold on the same day [8-6-7 and 7-8-6].
The one sold hour before mine went for 15m zloty, the one sold hour after mine went for 14m zloty.
Week later a 7-8-7 [so +1 in tech] went for... 27.5m zloty, so 22.5m more than mine [5.5m euro more]. The market is totally ridiculous at times.

Yes maybe they should remove the cost of putting players on the market - then you can set the price you expect without paying for it if there's no interest.

Please no. There needs to be some downside to blatantly selling for an above market value. Consider the price for listing as an insurance policy. You pay money to avoid the risk of a player being sold for less than you wanted. The higher the price you want the more you pay in the form of insurance. On the other side if you feel I’m never going to need insurance because they’ll sell well enough then you have the risk that something happens and you end up selling the player for less than you wanted (potentially much less).
That’s pretty reasonable in my opinion.
If there wasn’t a fee there for listing everyone would just list at above market prices and just keep trying because there’s no consequence otherwise.
No, what they need is the option to list player x at time y at a minimum and that solves the selling inequality right there and then. Don’t need to be online to list a player. Should still be optional though.
Buying side is tough to work out how to solve. Auto bidder first option that comes to mind but that will potentially raise prices of all players to the point you couldn’t get a player anyway. There would also be less of a chance of getting good bargains as well. There’s also the issue of people just blocking others from the market entirely. I just don’t know of another way though to deal with poor time zones. Hence why it probably needs more thinking.

Yeah that's pretty insane.
I think juniors are even more volatile price wise than seniors, as seniors people know what they do, and don't want

In the other game I play, 1x autobidder is available for plus users.
I have suggested this to Raul before and again in a recent skmail, but he doesn't read his sk mail anymore haha.

It would be of interest to know the secondary skills for the players mentioned - whether that could have been determining factors to some extent?
The auto-bid option or something similar would be better IMHO. I play another management game where you can set time of sale, & also set what would be your maximum bid - if successful you pay next unit above whatever the second highest bidder was at, so if well above any other bid you at least recoup the difference (between your max amount & second highest bid).

Auto bidding would kill the charm and ruin it for trade skills... I rely on buying low, i build a lot of success on youth market
