Asunto: [U21] Defenders

Karas will be back up for sale. Popped in defender, and now 1-2 trainings from popping in pace (currently +2 advanced trainings)

Finished pace training for Ishida, now I will go heavy into DEF + random single side trainings if it would pop those

I convinced the owners of 5th and 7th best mids age 20 to train them as defenders.

This is something, that specifically should matter for senior nt more then u21

What a beast! Still a few seasons to go SD and round his other skills.

He needs to round his other skills now and let them pop by gt to s.divine. any training on pace or def now is training wasted, that could have been used on other skills

Probably a discussion that is needed with the senior NT coach, about whether it's urgent or not to get him to double SD.

Also having trained multiple defenders to 2x SD, I've never had one that would get there just via GT. They still often require a few training sessions, because each time they age, it just increases the gap to SD (overall with a season of GT they do make some progress even after the age update, but they 'lose' about half a season of that GT) that's not quite correct but it's an easy way to think about it.

The thing you don't want is him being 2x SD at age 24.

Pace in particular needs a few training sessions soon. It will pay dividends later. I'd give him at least +6 pace before switching to other skills. Training pace after 24yo is painful.

I say that, because I left it too late for Turner and despite 23 weeks of pace training, he never made it fun divine to SD pace. Seemed like a wasted training slot.

I trained a striker to 18 pace and 18 tech, he was 17+2 at pace early age 21, and 17+0 at tech age 22... both popped to 18 around 27 yo

A bit different for a striker, having to train 3 skills. I don't regret training Carr to SD pace as a 25yo. I knew if I waited any longer, it would have been hard to get him there.

The point i tried to make was that from divine to superdivine doesnt need that much if it reached divine early enough

For the super talents yeah. I've never had anyone reach divine pace that young.

Well he is a super talent, he had divine pace start 21, 17 def now early 22... he should have max +2 pace now and wait with def till age 26 ... if you ask me (also since I know his secondaries), the seniors also need them for to be worked on first to be in consideration to senior nt playing Time

I agree, if talent is not between 3,1 and 3,5 and he first reach divine pace age 23-24'ish, then I would also rush to have him 17+5 or so fast
